Drakonudel (singular & plural) are an (upcoming???) species of draconic humanoids by dellabeat!
Drakonudel are food-themed kitchen spirits who gained human form from spending time around human cooks.
They'll PROBABLY be semi-open, where anyone could make a Common drakonudel for free, but any additional MYO slots/higher rarities would cost money.
However, Drakonudel are currently under construction and completely closed to the public!
Tentative trait sheet (ft. potential NPC Mona)
Lore & Abilities
- Drakonudel tend to act as guardians in a kitchen, warding off bad luck and blessing their cooks' food.
- They're traditionally based on noodles or other long foods, but modern drakonudel seem to be based on all kinds of foods.
- They are “born” from a puff of smoke in a cooking vessel such as a pot, steamer or wok.
- Tails are edible* and can be detached and regrown (like a lizard)
- Drakonudel can choose whether to make themselves corporeal/visible to humans or not.
- Drakonudel can float/fly.
- Aprons are used to channel magic.
- Apron can be taken off/summoned/dismissed, but it's always bound to one specific drakonudel.
- Magic manifests in different ways! Some drakonudel seem to have infinite pocket space in their aprons, some have transmutation circles to transmute ingredients into other ingredients...
- Aprons can be torn and repaired, but magic gets a little wonky while it's ripped.
- If an apron is completely OBLITERATED (shredded, burnt, etc.), the drakonudel loses all magical ability and might have to rely on a friend's magic for basic drakonudel functions like tail regeneration, being invisible, etc.
* Except for inorganic tails (Rare trait)
Appearance
- Can transform into anthro/feral versions at will
- Resemble eastern dragons
- Anthro/feral forms would be unregulated (they wouldn't require approval!) as long as they look related to the humanoid form
- Generally human-sized but can change their size to be as small as a fairy
- Any pupil shape
- Options for the tail include spines, spikes, manes, and shaped tips (spaded, forked, etc)
ALL Drakonudel have:
- A food-filled reptilian tail
- Can have food-themed markings and/or garnishes
- A unique apron
- Sharp teeth
- Can be all of the teeth or just fangs/some teeth
- (Retractable) claws
- Scales somewhere on the body
- Animal feet
- Long, flowing eyebrows and/or whiskers
