I'm almost ready to get the FTO event set up, as I've finished designing all the designs that can be pulled from the gacha!

The theme of this gacha is 'Plethora of Plushes,' so all of these TCs have plush bonded toys!

And you may notice, looking at these designs, that ~ one of these TCs is not like the others ~

Along with this gacha, I'll be debuting a new Bonus trait!

Beaks! These can be any length/color, and like all other Bonus traits, can be applied without taking up any other trait slots. The gacha will include some Bonus Trait tickets you can use to apply to your TC, so if you'd like to use one, cross your fingers!

I'll post the gacha and the FTO event once things are ready--I need to make a spreadsheet detailing potential prizes, as well as come up with guidelines for inventory and funds management. Shouldn't be too terribly long, but we'll see~

Alrighty, I think I have things decided to where I'm ready to set up the FTO event plus maybe a gacha?

The gacha itself will be free (initially), there will be a way to earn a free first pull that will also tie in to the FTO event, but people who have Cherubs already can participate in it as well.

Said way to earn it is that there will be a small event that gets people to look around at each other's Cherubs and get to know them!! More info will be provided later of course.

I have one thing on my plate before I do that, however, so! It will be just a little longer. But I'll make the respective bulletin and forum posts when ready!! Thank you for being patient!

Hello, how is everyone?

Due to certain real life events, I will admit management of this world will become a little unscheduled/jittery, as I have no idea when things will get fixed. Simply put, I might be without internet for a good while, and thus... Just won't be able to do anything until that gets settled. This won't happen until this summer, but... Yeah.

And like. I know you're thinking, "why not just recruit mods" well, I'd love to... But this is my first closed species, so I would prefer to actually. Be present and involved when having new mods join up. At least for the first batch. You can understand that, I'm sure.

That being said, I do have a couple of plans to get in order before I actually leave for the Unknown amount of time. 

First off, I would like to set up the First Time Owner event, so that people who missed the MYO can still make a Toy Cherub. They'll likely be restricted to Common OR, but that still gives a pretty big pool of traits.

I would also like to perhaps begin the setup for the ARPG. I already have the art for the first 'event' of sorts drawn out, but it's merely a simple thing that encourages people to draw their cherubs interacting with other people's cherubs, nothing too detailed. 

I don't use deviantart so much anymore, but I have vague plans to post some adoptables over on my adopt account, just to get some more attention and so on. I don't know about a group, because I would still largely like this to be Toyhouse/Discord-based, but I am aware that not being able to make deviations can sort of impede that, so I'll probably try to think of a workaround.

Once that stuff's out of the way, /then/ I'll probably direct my attention to setting up the actual ARPG currency and gachas. I would have liked to set them up sooner, but with not as large as a pool of interest as I would have liked, I don't feel particularly right setting up things worth money right away, as much as I need the funds.

For the time being, though, I hope y'all are having fun with your cherubs!

Once again, if you made your post in the general forum and have yet to submit you MYO, please don't worry, you still have time to do that. (In fact, I believe only pog- , seraphim , and Cinnamun are the ones who need to submit still, and two of them entered on literally the last day, so no biggie)

If you joined the group and did not make an entry to the forum, I'm sorry, but your MYO status is now null and void, and you will either have to wait until I set up the First Time Owner event or purchase a MYO ticket/adopt or pull from the gacha once those are set up.

Once the last few MYO designs are submitted and in the masterlist, we'll start the raffle, so keep an eye out for that.

The way the raffle will work is that you'll all be put through a random list generator, and the first person drawn gets the first TC in the raffle group, second person drawn gets the second one, and so on. Ownership will be updated automatically, but if you do not wish to keep the design you win, then you may trade it in the group's trade forum.

The raffle will be hosted in the forums, and winners will be pinged as they're drawn.

If you submitted your post to the forum in the general species forum but have yet to submit to the MYO Submission forum here in the world, do not worry! So long as you have made that initial forum post, you may take what time you need to finish up your MYO and submit it for approval. The Raffle will be drawn once everyone who's been confirmed has submitted their MYO!

Once the MYO closes and I've gotten all the Cherubs into the masterlist, please note that things will be quiet for a while. I am in the process of planning ARPG elements, but I'm still a one-mod team at the moment, and I do have some other personal projects going on as well as preparing for a big move this summer,,, QwQ 

The friends who provided designs for the raffle, I don't know if they would want to invest themselves in a Closed Species, as they have other projects to do. So it's very possible I'll ask for admin applicants in the near future! You likely won't need experience since I'm pretty new to this myself, but I'll likely be looking for people who can collaborate on art assets, event ideas, and pitch ideas for things like themed gachas and the like.
