World of Aelyria Group Rules

GENERAL RULES

  1. Respect everyone and be kind to each other. This group was created for fun, please be considerate towards other's decisions and feelings. General rules apply to everywhere group activities are hosted (discord, toyhou.se, deviantart, etc.).
  2. Do not harass or bully others in the group for any reason - group related or otherwise.
  3. Racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia, pedophilia, zoophilia or otherwise prejudiced or harmful behavior and language will not be tolerated.
  4. Scamming - including charge back fraud, scalping, double trading or trading stolen characters - within the group is not allowed. Perpetuating or helping with/in such activities will result in an immediate ban.
  5. Explicit sexual/NSFW content is not allowed publicly within the group (see Discord Rules) for prompts, quests, adventures and general art submissions. This includes heavy gore (organs/bones exposed, visible and detailed deep tissue injuries, etc.) and heavy drug and alcohol abuse.

GROUP CONDUCT

  1. Art and writing submissions can only be claimed as one type (prompt, quest, general) per piece.
  2. Tracing other's art or directly tracing a photograph is not allowed in any form; all art submissions must be uniquely created by you!
  3. Art for specific submission types - prompts, quests, adventures - must follow the minimum requirement. You can, of course, draw more than the minimum for extra rewards (as stated on the prompt).
    1. There is no penalty/difference in reward for sketchy vs. clean art work - everyone's style is different - only for uncolored vs. colored work.
  4. Do not critique other's artwork or writing without permission. Try to keep any criticism you do give constructive (i.e. explaining what you think could be changed vs. telling someone their art sucks).

GAME RULES

  1. While everything in Aelyria is open-ended and up for  interpretation, submissions must be recognizably in Aelyria. Each  subject and element within a piece must be distinctly recognizable as  such as well; while there is no penalty for 'sketchy' artwork, it must  be readable and understandable.
  2. Do not use someone else's character in your submission(s) without permission.
  3. Any medium is acceptable for submissions - digital or traditional.
  4. You  may only claim rewards for art you have drawn yourself, you cannot  claim rewards for general claims, prompts, quests or story events for  art you commissioned/art you paid someone else to make.
    1. You may  claim character experience and guild renown for art you  commissioned/paid someone else to make so long as that art fulfills the  needed requirements.
    2. You may claim experience and guild renown for art your character features in that someone else created.
    3. You  may claim rewards for collaborations ('collabs') so long as all  participants have a character featured in the piece. The reward is  evenly split between all collaborators. For example, a 20c piece is  split 10c each for two collaborators or split 4c each for four  collaborators and so on.
