Suffering, penance, rehabilitation. That is the duty of the fallen angels and demons of Hell. An uncomfortable existence in a realm that even the Almighty seems to have forgotten. Constantly tormenting the damned, and each other, for misery itself adores company. Until one day something changes and chaos itself starts to rule over Hell.

Lucifer, the black fallen morning star, has abdicated his throne. Disappearing into the swirling mists surrounding Hell to not be seen again. This event, known as the Great Abdication, has thrown Hell into chaos. Brother against brother, lovers are torn apart because without Lucifer's guiding hand Hell is for naught and the duty of rehabilitating sinners is lost and with that, the fallen's penance for their transgressions.
