Atlantis, a forgotten tale of a lost city beneath the deepest reaches of the ocean. But what if it wasn't lost? Or forgotten? What if the underwater city of Atlantis was in its finest years, active and populated, filled with able creatures living their lives as time passes by. That, is this Atlantis. Protected by a nearly indestructible dome, the city of Atlantis prospers at the very bottom of the vast sea. Such a city isn't accessible to the average being, no, but only those chosen whom posses rare and mystical abilities. Those referred to as supernatural.

The city itself is structured like any other, filled with stores, schools, businesses, the list goes on. The only difference, however, is that none of the citizens are allowed to leave the city. By any means. The policy that was instated is ages old, and is known as the Law of the Unwanted. The Law is necessary for the safety of supernaturals, for the humans above the ocean's surface are hostile and will kill any suspected of possessing abnormal abilities. Which is how Atlantis was created. Many centuries ago, Atlantis was a city rising far above the ocean, a pleasant safe haven for those who simply didn't fit in. But average mortals found the city a threat, and promptly attacked. The Director of Atlantis was distraught at the violence and deaths spreading across his city like wildfire, and used his own strength and ability to sink the great city to the bottom of the sea. The only protection from further attacks being the ocean's caring embrace and the dome forever suspended above the city.

It is told that the Director of Atlantis is a King, an ageless being sent to reign power and give immunity to all those beneath. This King, is the King of Water. Lou Fawsi. Ever since that fateful day, he remains in power in order to protect all of the victimized supernaturals still living amongst his city. However, not everyone agrees with his decision to isolate Atlantis. A rebel group known as the Freedom Sharks seek to install escape passages in order for supernaturals to leave the city as they please.

The escape passages line the Sewer Systems of Atlantis, leading out through the protective dome. Atlantis itself is divided into different sectors, Sector 4 is the poorest region along the outskirts of Atlantis. Shantytowns and abandoned buildings are commonplace, and is where the Freedom Sharks congregate. Heavy stereotypes fall open those who live in this sector, and are often caste away from society. Sector 3 is the common citizens' sector, where middle class families live. Taller apartment buildings begin to rise in this sector, turning into the classic urban architecture of the city. Sector 2 is the high class sector, where wealthy businessmen and their families reside. Buildings reach far into the sky, fulfilling the urban atmosphere. Last but not least is Sector 1, the King's sector. Only officials of the Atlantean government reside here, and naturally Lou Fawsi himself. This sector is a massive watch tower looking out high above the other sectors, and rumors have it that the topmost floor is where the King resides.
