Hello, Wisp here!
Our current happenings isnt much of happenings at all right now since Painted Relics is currently on a mini hiatus from events and large sales(We'll still be having small updates and small sales though)! This is due to a large portion of the site being under construction.
Over the course of the game we've come leaps and bounds from where we started, but in that process we've been able to see where areas need improvement in either balancing, art assets, or content that fell short and are taking a step back from large updates in order to work on fixing up the foundation of the game so we can hit the ground running again with all the things we have planned!
The game is still open and playable as is, you can still redeem your free character, but you might notice a lot of things moving and changing on the site during the process! We're so excited to show you all the things we've been working on to make Painted Relics the best game it can be, and we've got even bigger plans for when we come out of this mini hiatus to show it off! About Painted Relics
Painted Relics is an Art Roleplaying Game (ARPG) featuring adventuring, companions, and story quests. Take control of your own colourful cast of characters and develop them through a series of quests and activities, affecting not only their own progression as individuals, but the story of the game as a whole! Earn items to change their appearance, gain stat points to improve their skills, and help write the story of Kyvalore via the myriad of quests available.
Play games, create art, and write to advance your characters story and earn shards. Shards can be spent to add special traits to your characters, collect gear and pets for your characters, and more.
If you're new to the game, you can get started with the New Adventurer Quests to get introduced to the world and obtain your first character slot as well as some goodies to get you started! Additional slots can always be earned in the game or purchased on site.
