aeredale (air-uh-dale) - small country town with a population of 607 spread out across a very large area, most houses have 1-2 miles between them unless you live downtown

a very close community despite the distance between everyone, they're all very friendly with each otherĀ

crossroads - what everyone calls the spot downtown where the two main roads meet (main street going east/west and ebon road going north/south), often a meeting point when friends want to get togetherĀ

downtown - in the middle of downtown you find crossroads, and the local bar is right there. that's the most popular hangout for the town's residents. there's also a small party store that has everything people would need to buy so they don't have to travel far (except for fresh food- produce, meat, etc. those are sold at the market at the docks). the town has a pizza place that is VERY popular and loved, and a daycare though they don't get much business. there's an atm outside the bar. there are a lot of empty buildings downtown that everyone speculates about, but they've sat empty for so long that it's unlikely they'll ever be filled. a lot of the town's residents live downtown or in the few blocks near downtown, but once you get out of town, everyone else is very spread out.

the docks - following ebon road a few miles is a large lake FULL of marine life. there are 3 different docks. the middle dock is the largest, and this is where the market is located! farmers and fishers and anyone else with things to sell flock here every wednesday. most sellers here are regulars, who each have their own stands every week, but occasionally new sellers will show up for a week or two before disappearing again. the market is very lively and usually full of people stocking up on fresh food for the coming week. the other two docks are smaller, one on each side of the market. these are the docks that the fishers will launch from, and sometimes if they're feeling lazy they'll fish right off the docks. there's a designated swim area (no lifeguard) further down the shore, and most families in aeredale LOVE going the beach

lots of farms, ranches, and stables in aeredale. it's often seen as a very country, old fashioned town, but they're really not despite being full of farmers. they're just out in the middle of nowhere doing their best with what they have.

there's not much of a government in aeredale, its community run and generally that works quite well for them. there's a small council that meets and proposes bills that everyone can vote on, but that's about the most structure they have

think of a town from the old west. now plop it in the modern day with (mostly) modern people and modern technology.

located in upper florida - some people have southern accents, some don't. it's a pretty even split.
