OVERVIEW:

Caroudolls are large, humanoid dolls or animatronics with functional carousels in the place of an abdomen

There are no rarities, Caroudolls can appear in any way you like

LORE:

Origins:

The first caroudolls were created by a scientist who, before she passed, wished to give her children a companion based off their favourite place in the world, a theme park. They were sentient beings made of scrapped ride parts and ultimately given a carousel theme. The music from their carousel would remind them of their mother for years to come.

Those children of course grew up but followed in their mothers footsteps, becoming great inventors and creating Caroudolls themselves, not for financial gain at first, but they soon realised their potential and Caroudolls were put into production as all kinds of assisting entities

Giving robots sentience of course would never go as planned, they began thinking for themselves, they wanted to be part of society and one by one , Caroudolls became their own people. Some unfortunately turning to the darker side of humanity.

Anatomy:

A caroudoll can be made from many materials, whether it's metal, ceramics or plastic and they are usually always based off a carousel ride such as a unicorn, seahorse or carriage but they can have a multitude of unique traits. They all however match, a cat themed caroudoll would have cat ears and a cat tail rather than cat ears and a bunny tail for example; their themes are consistent. Their legs and face however can either be humanoid or relate to their theme such as hooves or a cat face (furry).

Depending on who made the Caroudoll or whether the Caroudoll themselves made changes to their body, these beings can run on all kinda of power such as electricity, magic or some other questionable methods. They can move very naturally or robotic depending on how they are made

They often have visible joints (whether they be bjd style or mechanical) but they can certainly be covered by a silicone skin if they are advanced enough and on their chest you will find a keyhole and button which allows their carousel to activate
