Syamo Event: The Red Storm

Posted 2 years, 4 months ago by Theocomix

The_Red_Storm.pngThe Red Storm (Red Desolation/ Red Erasure/Red Impact/ Red Current) is a cataclysmic event that occurred ten years prior to the main storyline of Syamo. It was an 8-day war between Sollans and Xarrons that led to a large chunk of Sollan civilization in ruins, and the death of the world hero Selena Solaris.

-=Background=-
10 years prior to the start of the Syamo Main Story. The Evangelist and the Legion of Xarros launched a global scale invasion that began with a Xarron-constructed comet that collided with the surface of planet Sollah, causing planet-wide blackout from the star syamo, allowing Xarrons to invade all corners of the planet. The purpose of the Red Storm was to find and secure/eliminate the Mantle of Serenity to destroy any form of hope the Sollans had in their goddess. During this time, many travesties, battles, and events occurred throughout the planet-wide invasion that shaped and/or destroyed the lives of many people, Sollan, Xarron, and Duskwalker.

-=The Battle of Light and Darkness=-
During the final days of the war. Selena confronted the Evangelist and clashed in an earth-shaking battle, ending in the Evangelist on the Verge of Death and the fatality of Selena.

-=After Effects=-
The Creation of Solaris
In response to the aftermath's chaos. 4 of Selena's acolytes banded together to form an organization dedicated to continuing Selena's will. To unite Sollah and repel those who threaten to destroy Sollah.
The Darklands and Shadowcells
Unfortunately, Sollah remained burned with the Region of Neris being completely taken over by the Xarron. Filled with Xarron outposts and fortresses and perpetually bathed in with Shadowcells, massive superstorms powered by umbral energy that ravage the planet Sollah from time to time and must be dispelled.

Xion
A newly formed continent at the point of impact. It is surrounded by a perpetual Shadowcell that prevents any unwanted visitors from trespassing. In the present day, Xion became a bastion of refuge for Duskwalkers, Xarron Outcasts, and even Sollans that choose to abandon everything to live a new life free of the conflict of Sollans and Xarrons, and the war between gods.

-=Other Details=-
- The Red Storm serves as a catalyst for many inciting incidents in both the Canon and Fanon events of Syamo. Allowing people to develop traumatizing and compelling backgrounds for characters and their reflections behind this event.
