Squittens were created as result from a war from two larger gods on their planet, a war of land against ocean.
God of the land and god of the ocean. Both which take form of a feline god and a squid type god.
These two fought endlessly on who would rule all of litore.
After thousands of years of war on a lonely planet the two fell in love creating peace among lands.
After finding peace they both used their energy to create a being that represented both of them to rule litore thus they
created mara our creator to carry out their wishes in making the planet a place to honor their peace and love thus the squittens were created to inhabit the planet.
Mara being the first squitten of her kind thus used her powers to make the first life on the planet to take care of the vast ocean waters thus squittens were created all over the planets waters.

FAQ
Can I make my own Squitten?
Squittens are a semi-open species! This means the community is free to make Squittens for personal use or as gifts as long as they only us Common and Uncommon traits and forms. If you want to make a Squitten with any other traits, you will need to purchase a MYO Pass from our shop!
How can I get a MYO Pass?
MYO Pearls are available from our Discord server in the Shop and from frequent Events and Games! The shop carries 4 items at a time and items will rotate with each opening. We stock Upgrade Crystals and MYO passes for Traits and Forms. You can buy these using Pearls (Our species currency) which can be earned through events and games. Once you have used your MYO, you'll be prompted to send the pass's profile back to MonstarMews.
Can I get a Squitten custom?
Squitten Customs are available from our staff! Each staff member has their own availability, so be sure to check with the Admin you are interested in! If you have a MYO Pass, you are able to get it filled as a custom from and Admin or another Artist but this is the only way you can get a custom from a Non Species Admin.
Where can I find Squitten adopts?
Squitten adopts will be posted on our Discord, in the adopt channels, or on our Instagram! If you are in search of a squitten, you can also advertise in our Community Market in the Discord server!
