(to be renamed)

This is the medieval-themed fantasy world that the canonical Patrick (owned by RobertVarulfur) and Silvie (owned by LadySilvie) exist in, along with all their friends and family.

You are welcome to create a character who lives in this world/submit them, and LadySilvie might draw them/include them in the story as side characters, but follow these rules:

  • They cannot be high royalty (King/Queen/Prince/Princess), but they can be count/countess/baron/baroness/knight/esquire.
  • They cannot be directly related to any of the main characters (Silvie, Patrick, Noire, etc.), or best friends with any of them
  • They must be "standard" furries that will fit into this world -- no taur, over-the-top-colors (solid, bright hair like Tsura with an explanation is fine), humanlike primates, custom species (if you can break them down to be hybrids of standard animals, that is fine), multi-limbed (having both arms and wings is fine), species that don't make sense as anthros (parasites, centipedes, microscopic organisms, fish), or ridiculous hybrids (4+ animals)
  • They cannot be OP -- no crazy magical abilities. If they are very good with basic magic, they should have needed to train for many years to get to that point.

By submitting a character, you are consenting to LadySilvie drawing them/slightly modifying their design/including them in the canonical story however we see fit (though we will try our best to stick as close to your description of the character as possible).

Basic rules for the world:

  • This is a parallel universe to our "real" world. Humans do not exist here, but they are a mythological creature.
  • There are higher and lower animals -- the higher animals are sentient, intelligent anthros, while lower animals are like the real world's feral creatures, kept as pets/livestock/etc. Higher animals of the same species/family (i.e., a wolf anthro and their pet poodle (canines), a crow anthro and their pet bluejay (corvids), or a mourning gecko anthro and their pet crested gecko (geckos)) as their lower-animal counterparts can understand the lower-animal's language to a degree; lower animals' speech is not fully intelligent and typically no more than stunted phrases ("I feel slick" I love you" "SQUIRREL!" "I smell female"). It is tabboo to eat or serve the flesh of a lower animal of your species.
  • There are multiple deities in the world, of varying species, and individuals can honor more than one deity. Some are more popular and developed than others, but there is a deity for every species in this world. Deities often favor their own species and that is often the default deity someone prays to, but it is also location and task-based -- i.e., the deer god is most popular in the town he was said to have created, the crow goddess is known for working with spirits and magic, the cat god is favored by theives and people who require stealth, the rabbit goddess is prayed to for fertility, etc. These deities do have physical forms they can take, and often appear to their followers (most people see their deity at least once in their life).
  • Magic exists, and it is something anyone can learn with years of effort, but having a gift is necessary for it to be more than little stuff (i.e. Patrick isn't innately magical and can still snap his fingers to produce a spark to light a candle, but he cannot transform anything into anything else or speak to spirits regularly. Tsura has a slight gift and hasn't trained with it much and can sense the future and speak to spirits, though it isn't clear and she has to fill in the blanks to get a complete answer, and it exhausts her. Dyanne has a slight gift and has studied illusion magic in her free time, so she can make little things like card faces appear as other card faces, or hide shadows. Silvie has a fair gift and has trained for a few years, she is a devotee of the crow goddess that grants her additional power, and she is friendly with spirits that can provide additional help, so she can use magic to modify her alchemy to make potions that heal more than the standard potion would, make things levitate, and modify creatures' forms (give someone wings/ disguise them as a lower animal temporarily)). Pairing magic with the innate magic of plants/stones/etc. increases its power.
  • It is a feudal European-sytled world, but has moved beyond legal slavery/excessive mistreatment of the lower-class citizens. While Kings are the richest, peasants do not live in squalor and plague. Kingdoms vary in size, generally one per continent, and the continents are similar to the real world's. There is war in the neighboring ally kingdom, so volunteer knights were sent several years ago to help fight.
  • There is a stylized royal hierarchy (with no male/female distinction, other than title), with firstborns taking prescedence for the passing of the crown and their parents' titles/holdings upon death: king/queen>prince/princess>duke/duchess (children are called ladies and lords)>marquess/marquise (children are called ladies and lords)>count/countess (children are called ladies and lords)>baron/baroness>knight. These individuals and their nuclear families are considered nobles. The duke/duchess/marquess/marquise/count/countess and their children, and the baron/baroness all are referred to as Lord/Lady ____ (i.e. Lady Silvie is the eldest daughter of a count/countess, and married Lord Patrick, who was granted the title of baron by the king directly. Their daughter would be Lady _____ because, when Silvie's parents pass away, she will inherit the title of Countess. Silvie's younger brother, on the other hand, is called Lord Jerald but his children are not titled Lord/Lady ___ because he will not be a count unless he marries a countess.)
