Hello Everyone!!

Until I have a bit more time to set this up, I will write what a bit of this new lore for these characters are!

In the revolution of magic, the wizards have channeled it in their staff’s orbs. They can wield these with moderate power, the elemental magic of the deities helping them. The masks help the mind, helps it ease and flow with the core magic that they yield.

The mask is removable, but discouraged outside of the home. If the staff is used without the mask, it can be volatile or sporadic.

The more orbs of the same color enhance the power, even though that they can be different colors. It’s a Jack of all trades situation, master of none. If you have a “balanced” staff (one of more than one element) the less powerful the individual element will be.

For now, the amount of orbs is capped at three. Each element will have their score out of three. You can mix more than once class in each orb, but that will reduce the number. (Ex. You have two blue and once red/black. Blue will be 2/3 and both red and black will be .5/3)

The society is structured lightly, mostly banding together in small, close groups and traveling around nomadically, or in small towns. Mostly of similar element classes (classes are colors)

Current list of class colors:

Red- manipulation of fire (not complete control)
Orange/brown/some greys- manipulation of solid earth/rocks
Yellow- manipulation of weather
Green- manipulation of plants
Dark Blue- manipulation of water
Light blue- manipulation of wind
Purple- core magic (things such as transfiguration, or levitation)
White- manipulation of light (can include light teleportation, where the wizard channels a beam of light an uses it as vehicle to one place or another)
Black- manipulation of absence, void (can include like shadow teleportation, where the wizard can travel through dark areas to one another)

Wizards take from the earth around them and put it to use. Wizards of a class usually live close to their core element.

Purple is structured differently, where the wizards don’t have a set core element. These individuals usually travel around, unless they have formed bonds with wizards of other types.

Masks-

Differently shaped and colored masks represent the family/village that they came from! Most are cosmetics, but discoloration and fissures can result from intense magical situations, or constant/overuse.

A damaged mask could alter how a Spire wizard uses their magic, and the stability of it.

Masks start out as a white or beige color, but can be dyed or painted. The shape of the mask is the choice of the creator, but they usually follow a similar format, with cosmetics following a heritage or social tradition. The joining of two Spires from different backgrounds may result in either a child taking on one more powerful side, or a new mask all together when the child comes of age to get their staff.
