The People

Soul color

A hueman's most important aspect is their color, or soul. It's unique in the world at any moment, and a hueman can tell saturation differences down to 250th of a degree apart in red, green, blue and blacklight each. Hueman eyes always glow at exactly their color, so it's possible to tell people apart from great distances.

Blacklight is a special kind of light that only exists in a hueman's soul color. It is just as bright as the other types of light and just as capable of lighting up a room, just in black light. That is to say, a dark red hueman's soul is not a less bright version of a red hueman's soul - they are equally as bright, part of the red light just replaced with black light in the dark red one's soul.

Only exception to the solid soul color eyes rule: If the hueman's color is very dark or pale, a ring of a more saturated version of their color may appear on the in-corner or out-corner of their irises.

The sclera can be any color though it's often the blood color.

Deific orientation

The second most important aspect is their deific orientation. It only depends whether moonlight (Daal) or sunlight (Hewa) brought them into the world - the gods will not demand loyalty, though most people feel a connection to them anyways. This is only shown in the eyes.

Body

Their skin is often pure white or black, but may be slightly greyer, or white or black with tints of hues near their soul's, and occasionally even tints of hues complimentary-adjecent to their color. Their blood and flesh  may also be an analogous or complimentary hue to their natural color, much more saturated than the skin usually is. Their bones are the same color as their soul, which may show easily through spots where the skin is close to the bones depending on the person.

Their hair color and texture is largely unpredictable and grows at a slow, steady rate throughout life. Streaks, ombres and two-toned hair occur naturally. If the hueman's color is very unsaturated, often there will be at least a streak of a saturated version of their color in the hair.

Hueman builds and heights may vary among the populace and sometimes even over the course of their lives. Their bodies have no features related to reproduction or raising young, nor do they age and gain wrinkles or scars, leaving them with doll-like, hairless and smooth skin all over.

There is great variation, also, in other smaller exotic features. A hueman may have pointy long ears, a tiny fluffy tail, or long hand-claws, and other small oddities that does not change the number of bones they have.

While not necessary, food, water and sleep will keep their mind functioning at full capacity.

Gender

Singular they/them/their is used most often. It/its is also widely accepted.

Just for the sake of talking about them without saying their names, ancient historians made up pronouns for Hewa and Daal (with their approval) - Hewa referred to as he/him/his, and Daal as she/her/her. People that have aspects of their followers' stereotypes will sometimes take up their pronouns as well, and other times people just like how it sounds and ride with it. Hewa is associated with the Arena and its upfront violence, while Daal is associated with Villainery and guile.

Fashion

Huemans who engage in fighting, destroying, defending - which is basically like 50% of the population - will often go with a very small amount of anything at all covering their skins since it'll be destroyed soon anyways. As for the rest of them, new fashion trends are made and discovered from ruins every day, and it's a nice venue for self-expression.

The fashion industry is constantly disproportionately advanced compared to everything else because even the gods can't turn a blind eye to the Passion for Fashion.

Lifecycle

A hueman is functionally immortal. There are only two ways for a hueman to die:

1. Walking into the great forge.

The great forge is the one built on top of the very first fire lit by humanity. It is the only fire that can melt a Hueman's bones. The death is painless, and another Hueman with the same hue as the one who died pops up somewhere else in the world when the sun or moonlight hits a droplet of water just right.

2. Being eaten by Kami.

Bones

The skull contains the consciousness and is a completely closed shape around the 'brain', which none other than the gods have seen.

A hueman's bones are indestructible (aside from a single exception, which we will discuss in the next section), and while attached to any skull it will always regenerate muscles and blood around it given enough time. While the same color as the soul, it doesn't glow.

Other huemans' bones may be attached to a skull and it will grow the skull's owner's flesh and blood, only difference between the original bone and this being that the flesh will always grow back with a colorful tattoo-like marking of the bone's hue (saturation and value may vary). It is possible to influence the shape, size and location of this marking by controlling how the flesh is cut before removing the original bone. The wound will not heal until a new bone takes its place, or the original bone is put back in.

Eyes are similarly indestructible. They will change to take on the skull's owner's color if fitted into one. No, you cannot attach eyes where they shouldn't be. That's the same with all the other bones.

Bone magic

The bones are impossible to damage unless you use the tools forged from the gods' own bones. There exist two sets, from the Lights each, extremely closely guarded - in the heart of the opposite god's temple, because only Hewa's blade may carve a hueman made by Daal and vice versa.

The seemingly endless fountain of magic a hueman's bones have can be utilized through engraving the bones, to imbue them with abilities. The abilities will typically require a short amount of time between uses to restore, and bigger bones are more capable of holding up a spell than smaller ones. You might even be able to carve several spells into one big bone.

Most commonly, a hard-light projection that can be toggled and slightly manipulated by the bone owner's will is engraved. Aside from being able to return after being battered to dust in a fight, it can have secondary abilities attached to it as well. It may be a shield, a sword, or maybe even a pair of wings that let you float for a little. Or cat ears that let you hear better. Cute! Bigger projections must sprout from the bone itself or the flesh area it grows but smaller ones may float further away.

The priests are generally afraid to engrave the skull. Nobody knows how thick is really is.

Woemen

Some of the attempts to make huemans by Kami are disturbingly similar to us yet different in parts that count. They are curious and intelligent and some will manage to attack a hueman and steal their eyes to disguise themselves. Their bones are always pitch dark and so are their natural eyes, but their skins may vary anywhere from white to black just like huemans.

A hueman that has had their eyes stolen by a woeman will still be able to see through the eyes as it impersonates them.

They attract other creations of Kami to them much like the light of the first hueman attracted Kami itself. There may be a noticeable spike in Kamia activity.
