𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙍𝘾𝙃𝙔 𝙑𝙎. 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙇 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙊𝙇𝙊𝙂𝙔

Anarchy's "demons" and "angels" are not meant to be biblically accurate or the exact same kinds that can be found in real world theology. Instead, angels are an organic & biological species on this world, and "demon" is a word they came up with to describe the monsters of the Underworld. The closest thing to spiritual demons would be what get called "True Demons" in Anarchy - These are inorganic beings that get spawned via rituals using fire and brimstone, typically to serve some purpose for the summoner. These do not look humanoid, but rather like non-animal monsters.

Aeon is the name of the entire world both the Underworld and Surface exist on.

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙐𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿

Also called "Supra" and "Inferno" depending on location, The Underworld refers to the massive caverns that exist underneath Aeon's surface. The middle portion of the planet below the surface is nearly completely hollowed out, its floor entirely covered in deep water (where there aren't islands) - Resembling an ocean. Anarchy is only one part of the entire massive Underworld, there are hundreds of islands and many different towns and nations. Angels describe the Underworld as a horrific place full of fire, brimstone, and searing magma- Incredibly hot and brutal... But in reality, for the most part, its a calm and cool place (both in temperature and color palette), with massive clusters of crystals illuminating the entire thing. Unfortunately for those who end up down there, getting back up to the Surface is pretty much entirely impossible. Even for things that have the ability to fly. Even if you manage to pass through the mass of toxic clouds hovering above every portion of the Underworld. AND you manage to not get killed by the eldritch creatures that live within' them known as "Sentinels"... You'll likely just get tossed back down quicker than your journey to get back up.

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙎𝙐𝙍𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙀

The Surface is something that exists only as part of Anarchy's lore, solely for providing context. It will not be explored or able to be explored within' the group/RPG. Please do not use this part of the world or make Aeon Angels for the time being. That aside: The Surface, also called "Terra" and "Paradiso", is the overworld portion of Aeon. A bright and natural place, quite normal and comparable to our world. Just with far less modern urbanization. It's home to the Angels, its dominant and most abundant race, which has nearly the entire Surface in their control. Any creature they deem "demons" or "monsters", they permanently toss down into the Underworld.

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙀𝙉𝙑𝙄𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏

Anarchy tends to almost always be in temperatures around the 50(F)/10(C) range. Some parts of the Underworld are colder, some way colder, and some slightly hotter (but never too much). To Underworld-born beings, this temperature feels normal. Snow and rain are possible. The water still evaporates, and it can still form clouds up at the very top of the caverns. The raindrops can pass through the toxic clouds just fine without turning toxic itself. However, due to the lower temperature, evaporation is very slow and precipitation is rare. The Underworld is illuminated by massive luminous crystals. The entire top of the caverns are absolutely covered in them (they can be found growing naturally on the land there, too, though) and their light can pass through the toxic clouds perfectly fine. They create an artificial day/night cycle as they dim at certain points in the day. They will start lighting up again to full illumination starting at 7AM. They will start dimming around 5PM.
