✦ Long, long ago, two house cats led the mission to liberate as many of their friends and family as possible from an abusive hoarder's over-populated, suffocating, and stressful household. Cats were malnourished and starving, living in their own filth with no breathing room. Two rose above the rest - Sunny and Moonie, sisters that would end up leading their future clans to new, bountiful land that would support them for lifetimes. Desperate and greedy to cover as much land as possible, they split into two groups, categorized by their differences..

✦ One day, one of the mothers of the sick and weak stumbled upon an ominous cave, rousing a frightened spirit that seemed dazed and confused. Startled by the ghost, the mother fled, but later returned out of curiosity overwhelmed her. The spirit appeared again, begging for the mother's aid. It explained about a clan of heavenly warriors who once looked after the previous inhabitants of the land, but dark forces overwhelmed them and tragedy struck, wiping the clans from existence except for a few straggling spirits. The spirit swore that if the mother could comply by a code and listen to the ancestors, the spirits, STARCLAN, would protect and guide them. The mother was empathetic, and relayed the news to the cats at home.

✦ Over moons, the mother gathered proof and provided understanding towards the spirits. Starclan was accepted by Sunny and Moonie's groups. However, what the spirits didn't tell them was just how weak they were, and they were haunted and tormented by corrupted spirits and amalgamations, instead flooding their minds with fantastical stories of the great four clans, their history, and the warrior code.

✦ Sunny and Moonie soon became recognized as official leaders, traveling to the cave with the first medic in new clan history, the mother known as Milky. They each received 6 more lives, seven in total. The spirits were too fragile to provide nine, and would never be ad powerful as they once were. Years passed, borders were established, Starclan replenished, and the clans lived in relative harmony.

✦ Join Sunclan and Moonclan as they learn about Starclan's true intentions and suffer through the destruction that they were never aware of. Corrupted spirits that writhed in the Dark Forest, since so ignored, have grown powerful and are on the hunt for revenge against those who have doomed them to such a terrible fate. How can they be contained? Didn't Starclan promise protection? Who can we trust...

...and who will die?

1. You MUST be at least 15 to join. However, 16+ is preferable and we may take this into consideration upon reviewing auditions.
2. You MUST be okay with dark themes, mature language, violence, and descriptions of gore. If you are not comfortable with any of these themes, do not join for your own sake.
3. Please be respectful to all members. Of course, playful banter is absolutely allowed, but toxic behavior will not be tolerated. Slurs, homophobia, transphobia, racism, fits over rp occurences, passive aggressive behavior, etc.... this should be a given. If you can reclaim a slur, that's great! However, not everybody is comfortable with such words, so to avoid any conflict it is best to keep them out of our conversations all together.
4. Activity is monitored via weekly/monthly check-ins. As long as you make these check-ins, you should be fine. However, this does NOT apply to premade/kit characters. The activity for premades will be heavily tracked and we reserve the right to confiscate a character should we deem activity isn't up to par.
5. Premade characters may ONLY be kept should they die in rp AND you were active with them. If you plan on leaving the rp, we can discuss what happens with your character! This rule is in place to prevent individuals from joining just to claim a free design.
6. This is a semi-literate-literate roleplay. You will respond in the third person, and responses must be a minimum of 5 sentences (a paragraph). The only exception to this is if we specifically say responses may be shorter during an event or etc..
7. One of the most important parts of making well balanced, well written character is making sure they have plenty of flaws to balance out their strengths. You can't have strength without weakness! Please take into careful consideration how you character operates. When placing characters of your own within the roleplay, please keep them semi-realistic! No over saturated neon coats and such. Minor things such as eye color or genetics do not have to be totally realistic!
8. Please remember that we are all human! We have things outside of Solar Eclipse to do. The mods all put a lot of work into making sure this is a fun, emotional, and interactive experience. If we miss a day of updating the weather, or respond to a question a tad late, please have patience. We will get there eventually.
9. A LOT of crucial decisions within this RP are dictated by random dice rolls and the actions of characters within the rp. Please do not get mad or harass the moderators if something doesn't turn out the way you wish. If we notice an inappropriate reaction, we will correct you.
