Sometimes we all need a self indulgent superhero story. We're no exception.

AstroGen discovers meteroids in Tunguska that have the capability to puncture through space and travel faster than anything in their known Universe. The Kings, the owners of AstroGen, commission a machine built using these meteoroids. It fails during initial testing, imploding in on itself and destroying the lab. This creates the Rift, a tear through reality itself that opens up into infinite dimensions, worlds, and realities.

Through this Rift come creatures and monsters that wreak havoc on the city, and eventually the world. As a counter measure to the growing threat of monsters, the newly rebuilt AstroGen begins a Super program in which they give volunteers powers to fight off the monsters. This process, unbeknownst to the public, is extremely dangerous and has often proved fatal.
