Basic Lore
Shroomlings do not need eyes, as they are able to ‘see’ through slight tremors in the ground. Only Shroomlings with eyes can see color, and thus in general tend to be more colorful.
Shroomlings are shy creatures, and aren’t very quick. However, they learn the caves they live in so well that they know every single possible hiding spot, and make multiple dens to serve as emergency shelters.
Shroomlings do not need to eat, however eating helps them get energy. Their diet consists of specific fruits that are found in their caves, and anything else is poison to them.
Daily Life
Shroomlings live in clusters, small groups of 5-10 Shroomlings. These clusters are extremely close-knit.
History
Shroomlings once lived above ground in a lush valley, and were more equipped for outside life. However, a giant fire burned their entire forest down. Some Shroomlings tried to cross the mountains that trapped them in their burned home, while others retreated to the caves. The cave Shroomlings are the ones known today, and nobody has heard from the other group.
