Kasdeya

• Either color palette (Lighter or darker) is fine. She's lighter toned in the day, and darker at night.

Kasdeya is a puttoffish brat who has learned to strongly defend herself because of the stigma that others have given her all of her life. Blaming others for the hurt she's received as a result of being blamed for the nightmares that others have, even if its of their own mind and not something she herself has any impact on. She turns to lashing out at others because she feels like she'll be a villain no matter what actions she chooses to take. The one exception to this is her partner, Janara- as she protects her against the world and any who would hurt her aggressively. In nature, she's stubborn and defensive, but doesn't actively seek to harm others unless they provoke her or give her enough reason to afflict them with her nightmares. She doesn't like to see others face their fears in their dreams, but can and will utilize it as a defensive weapon if needbe. 

She puts on a bravado of confidence and superiority, but its most certainly to hide her own insecurities and doubts about herself and what she knows herself to be, as she ponders if she is a good or bad force in the world or if there's really a reason to work towards changing it in one way or the other. She's suspicious of kindness, and even moreso of generosity, and always expects any debt she incurs will demand something in return. She struggles often and becomes frustrated with the concept of good for goodness sake.

Kasdeya was alone from an early age. She was an egg left behind, never knowing her family and never really finding a place to call home. From childhood she was antagonized and attacked for her lineage, and the ability to give people dark visions and terrifying dreams. She was chased from towns, shunned by others, and it quickly hardened her into a fiercely independent and slow to trust soldier who's only real goal became to defend herself. She spent a lot of her early years nomadic, trying desperately to find the furthest reaches she possibly could in an effort to simply be alone, convinced that it was the only answer that would bring her happiness. It never did, but it didn't stop her.

She was forced to find kindness when she found another fusion draped on the beach, weeping in grief. Janara, after the loss of her family. Despite Kasdeya's aggressive judgement against it, she couldn't help but want to protect this fragile other pokemon and want to defend her from whatever had harmed her. At first it started as a grudging battle with her conscience, but even when she attempted to leave she couldn't really shake Janara from following her. Eventually, she stopped trying, and began to follow her instead.

She eventually came to love her partner, Janara, and she taught Kasdeya what trust could really be. With her help, she's slowly opened up to being more open to others again.
