Arezou

The Prince of the Cosmos, and the son of the Sun (Mother) and the Moon (Father). He's the keeper and creator of the stars; a physical representation of them like his parents to their respective celestial bodies. Not only does he make the stars, but he also sets them in place with utmost care. Despite having all of this power, he is merely a lesser deity. He and his parents serve under the Almighty Deity, a God who brought the universe into being.

While he always appears rather small, he has a larger form, one that is a little harder for mortals to comprehend. However, since it’s easier on others and it’s far cuter, he prefers to take on a small, round and soft appearance. Even if he’s small, he’s not suppressing his ethereal power. However his physical power does suffer from being so tiny! Additionally, his head, wings, beak, body and feet are all detached from each other and float. His feather collar is good at covering this up! Arezou’s feet also never touch the ground. He’s perpetually floating just inches above the ground. He usually moves about as if he is walking.

While he didn't had particular patterns in mind when he began crafting his stars, Arezou couldn't help but notice that those that stargazed found constant patterns within his work; delighted at the prospect, he started to make more distinct designs, however he usually leaves the discovery and interpretation of these constellations up to the astronomers. 

Arezou also noticed that many people would make wishes on his stars. He always found it curious, however with so many making wishes he started to wonder if maybe he could start granting them. Presenting the idea to his parents and consulting the Almighty Deity, he was granted the power to grant most of these--with limitations, of course. He can only grant a wish if he's given an item in return; usually the item is small and relatively insignificant, however the bigger the wish, the more important the item will be. For example, if a girl should wish her mother’s terminal cancer to be cured, Arezou would take the girl’s hair and convert it into the wish. It's then used to bring the wish into reality.

The wishes don’t come true automatically, but they DO come true eventually. He can’t stress having patience enough…

Arezou's wish limitations include:

• He cannot bring death upon anyone. (Moral limitation)
• He cannot bring the dead back to life. (Physical limitation)
• He cannot force anyone to change, be it for love, or to suit the preference of someone else. (Moral limitation) (He CAN make it so there are influences that may provide this change, but it's not a guarantee.)

Arezou is very friendly and caring, allowing him to get along with just about anyone! He has a soothing aura about him, one that often puts others at ease when in his presence. This makes him incredibly when working with others. He’s dealt with numerous people who were upset with their current situation, and he’s talked them through it. Even if he couldn't grant their wish, they usually feel much, much better after talking to him! He loves to talk with others, and would be just as happy talking to them for hours upon hours if he could. But being a wish maker is sleepless work! He’s often disappointed when his time with someone has to come to a close.

His generosity is as boundless as the stars above! This little bird has a lot of love to give. 

Language barrier? Arezou often forgets that even exists. He can naturally understand any language. If he cannot, he can easily use telepathy to communicate–with the other person’s permission, of course! 

While he’s incredibly patient and loves working with others, he won’t put too much of an effort to work with those of whom that are purposefully malicious. If someone has a wish that could potentially harm another, he won’t even humor them. If an argument breaks out, he will stand his ground, and assert his power.

He looks young and seems wise beyond his years… But he’s really quite old! Despite this, he is very youthful, and acts a bit childish at times. A part of this demeanor is to make others comfortable with him, as he doesn't want to frighten anyone with his immense cosmic power. 

Regardless of how friendly he is, however... He gets extremely lonely and anxious when alone for too long, and will often seek out the company of others. He doesn't want to bother his parents or the Almighty Deity too much with his worries... But only visiting people for a few minutes simply wasn't enough for him...! When left to his own devices, he’s often a bit pensive and reflective. Even in granting, or not granting, certain wishes, Arezou does often ponder if that was a good idea or not, or if he could have done a better job with it. He also gets fretful whenever he simply can’t grant a wish. He wants to do his best to help anyone that wishes upon his stars, but if he can’t… He starts to lose confidence.

Ultimately, failure is his biggest fear, just before being left all on his own.

In his travels he came across Cal, a wee alien who wished for a friend after something devastated her home planet and people. Figuring the best solution for this was to take her with him, Arezou eventually adopted her as his sister. She lives with and travels with Arezou in his home star, which can move between worlds. She loves being able to travel, and will visit planets while Arezou is resting or granting wishes. She also helps him out with granting the harder wishes with her psychic power!
