[also known as Creek, Candytufts [parents]]
gender: male [he/him]
age: 11 years old
birthdate: February 4th
place of residence: Sunny Day Farms
occupation: student, Eggnog Elementary

The boy you’d sometimes see working on the fruit stall. Creek is a rather reserved boy with a dry demeanor. A bit rare to see him smile, some say he usually seems tired or annoyed. Others might not be so sure, having a hard time telling from his flat expressions with a monotone voice.

Creek is very much known as a pessimist. Openly gloomy, you'll see him saying negatively of... just about anything it seems. Many often hear him criticize on ideas, plans, and many more, always telling others about what and why it's "bad". Creek is also someone who's solemn and stern. He almost does anything with earnesty, whether is an important job or perhaps even something more lightly. However, due to his overly-serious nature, many people find interactions Creek tense or uncomfortable. And not only is he a down-beat, but sometimes he might even seem bossy, often stopping or telling others what not to, "ruining the fun". Many folks considered Creek as a "killjoy" and a "sourpuss", finding him unpleasant and avoiding his company.

But to those that are close to him, they know that he isn't someone that just "hates everything". In fact, they'll know that Creek doesn’t actually detest most things. Deep inside, Creek is a timid boy who's actually very anxious. The boy's mind is constantly filled with many worries and fears about many sorts of things. The way he sees it, terrible events can happen anytime, and that leaves him preoccupied with the ways something could go "wrong". This is why Creek tends to be cautious, trying to be careful of his every step. He has often try to surround himself with what's familliar, avoidant to anything outside his comfort zone. Which can include things most consider as "everyday life". And the guy doesn't mean dragged others in his misery. But rather, he is someone who frets other people's sake as well, and only hopes the best for others. His dreary remarks and preventiveness are often just ways he tries to express his concerns. Of course, many have a hard time telling, hence why the assumptions about him. Struggling to navigate around his thoughts, Creek has a hard time relaxing even if he tries. His awkward understanding of socializing only makes it harder for him to communicate in ways most usually recognized, hence why he has a hard time getting help. Though, one thing he's aware of is that most folks dislike him for sure, so he decided that maybe he should just isolate himself from others. After all [he thinks], that's probably the best for them, and it's not like he could handle people anyway, finding them a bit too much sometimes.

Yes, he may not make the best first impressions. And sometimes he’s not even sure if he has anything worth liking about. However, his loved ones would say otherwise. His view may be far from bright, but it doesn’t stop him from loving others. Starting with the most obvious, Creek is someone who’s protective of his friends and family [especially to his little sister], always making sure they’re okay and safe. Though besides that, Creek always tries to be a observant listener! He may not be a talker, but always tries to be attentive to what his loved ones has to say. His memory have always stood out to them too. One way Creek shows his affection is by trying to remember plenty details about those he care for. Whether it’s to gift a present or to plan out something, he never forgets to consider their needs and wants, even things people don’t typically notice. Additionally, he is someone who’s honest and reliable. A responsible boy, Creek always finish a tasks once he takes it. Though especially trustworthy, Creek is someone who is truthful and transparent. He would never tell a lie nor do something that'll betray someone, even if it’s a “small” thing, and he always keeps his promises. Perhaps a bit vulnerable, once he's close to someone, he trusts them fully. So he would do anything to be someone they could trust back. His loved ones mean a whole lot to him, and they make the world feel a little less scary.

𖥧 LITTLE NOTES:
  • Dilly is his dad and Marybella is his mom! He also has a little sister, Izzy!
  • [MEDICAL NOTE] That bracelet is actually a medical alert bracelet! Creek has an allergy to shellfish. He’s gotten a few really bad experiences, including an anaphylactic shock [a severe reaction] twice. Carries an allergy kit around [it mostly includes antihistamines and two epipens].
  • Shellfish is actually rare at the restaurants around and nearby town, but even then Creek still avoids food from outside at all costs [“Rather safe than sorry and hospitalized.”]. Mostly eats food from him or his parents, and sometimes his friends [once he trusts them enough]
  • Creek doesn't have many interests, but one thing he does loved the most is plants! He very much knows a whole lot about them, and one of his favorite things to do is to grow/tend them in a small greenhouse around the farm. It’s perhaps one of the few things that relaxes him.
    • "Favorite pet: plants."
  • Call him “plant dad” and he will deny it, always saying “It’s just plants”. While proceeding to make sure he takes care of every single one of them well and worries about their well-being, stresses out if something goes wrong to any of them.
  • Crafting flower bouquets are also a hobby of his! He really loves arranging these, it's a pleasing activity with a lovely result. Plus, it reminds him of his mom.
  • Tends to take things literally, not the best at reading sarcasm or metaphors. Idioms are the most confusing for sure.
  • The only reason why he’s working in the fruit stall is because he wanted to help his dad. Plus, there’s fruits, which are parts of plants. And plants are great.
  • Guy is just a naturally dead pan person-
  • If you asked the right questions about his knowledge and interests, his answer would be full of info! It'll sound like a wikipedia paragraph being read out loud.
  • Knows the “meanings” behind many flowers and plants. He thinks that symbolism is just “non-sense” but maybe “sometimes non-sense is nice.” Sometimes he uses this knowledge when he's making flower bouquets to gift others!
  • Enjoys solving puzzles as well! His favorites are sudokus and rubik’s cubes. Though he also loves to play strategy board games like chess and othello!
    • Don’t have many friends to play those so it’s usually vs. some bot online.
  • Into science topics in general, though of course botany is his favorite!
  • A past time of his would be to search web games on a computer to play. He really loves simple, click-and-point games about nature and science!
  • Not athletic, dislikes sports. Really terrible at them. Can’t even ride a bicycle nor swim “darnnit”
  • Actually, he is really afraid of drowning. Which is why he avoids activities that revolves about swimming. He doesn’t feel comfortable getting too close to oceans and lakes too.
  • Fond of cartoons actually! I don't know the genre but it’s the ones like in PBS kids y’know. He finds comfort in those shows, and does fixate on them from time to time. But he doesn’t ever seem to talk about them because last time he did he learned that no one else around his age watches those shows and someone told him it was "for babies" :(
    • He does love watching with his little sister, they both have similliar taste on cartoons!
    • His favorite [though it's in-universe] would be this show called "Carrotville". Anthropomorphic bunnies in a garden-like village.
  • He likes jazz, specifically the calm and peaceful kind that will play in the background.
  • Has a specific routine that he follows, at least every morning and night before bed. He likes the predictability, and doesn’t like it when it’s ruined.
  • Certain textures can be very uncomfortable for him. Some clothes and fabrics may be too itchy or tight for him, and he hates being touched unless he gave permission.
  • Hates loud sounds and noisy places due to how they overwhelm him. Sometimes in busier places, he might wear ear plugs.
  • Loves tomatoes. He thinks they look cute. And it taste good too.
  • Hates school. Well okay many do, but Creek genuinely doesn't see a single thing to look forward to at all. It's one of the most stressful things to deal with :(
    • He does know it's important though because... "it's important?"
  • This guy loves sandwiches, expect that he wants them with burger buns? Basically, not too keen on normal bread. This is his favorite food! And he would to prep them every morning [it’s part of his routine]. Favorite combo would be bread + lettuce + tomatoes + cucumber + stir-fry mushrooms n’ onions + a lil’ bit of olive oil.
    • Almost ate that same combo everyday if his family didn’t suggested other ingredients.
  • Hates beaches. "Ocean. Seafood. Need I say more?"
    • Also if sand isn't the most annoying thing then he don't know what is-
  • Finds “Candytufts” an affectionate nickname, but he only allows his parents to use it. Feels weird or awkward when others call him that.
  • Mostly wakes up early to see the sunrise, and doesn’t forget to see the sunset. It was a thing his mom loved doing with him and the habit never left since!
  • When at his limit, he may seem tired, perhaps doing nothing. He might stay completely silent, and tries to be left alone. It’s not something on purpose really, but more of a response from the brain once things get too much to handle.
  • European descent of some kind. His dad is Norwegian.
  • He was always a bit more nervous than other kids. However, while there isn’t anything long-term [at least most], there’s have been a build up list of “minor”, unconnected events that worsens it. Some people have said how those were “small”, “common” and “he’ll be okay”, but Creek can’t help it when the bad memories continue to stick with him anyway.
    • Though, it’s seems that his anxiousness peaked ever since his mom’s unexpected death.
