Avis Ilmatar, also known as "Lone Bird", is a travelling angel who lives on the Laughing Dragon, in Windsong. She is unusual in that she originates from a mysterious universe far away from Harmonia's resident submultiverse; how she arrived in Harmonia is as of yet unknown.

Avis frequently tells stories about how she fought a god and won in her home universe. According to her, her angelic wings and halo were originally inanimate costume parts, but in her battle with said rampant god, they turned from plastic and fake feathers to flesh, blood and gold. She's since been able to activate her angelic magic at will, though she occasionally does it at rather inopportune times by accident. She's immune to most diseases and poisons due to her divine blood, as she demonstrated in another story of hers- how she cured an island of people turned into zombies by a contaminated crop of fruit. According to her, she came into contact with them multiple times, but was never infected.
