Physical Appearance

Aquanette's appearance on Neopets is that of a Blue Acara. Below is the description of her humanoid (non-anthro) form:

• Sky blue hair, always tied up in high pigtails (to resemble Acara head... horns? tentacles?)
• Light blue eyes
• Has double-sectioned ears with pink insides like most Acara do, blue fur on outsides
• Palms and bottoms of feet are particularly pink
• Tan skin
• Sometimes has nails painted blue
• Medium in height
• Small sized breasts with a slight figure
• Moderately fit with an average build, although according to her stats she's pretty strong and fast

Anthro design TBD: Her more anthro humanoid form greatly resembles her normal Blue Acara form.

Clothing Style

As an Acara, Aquanette typically doesn't wear that much in terms of clothing unless it's winter. Her most common accessory is her Pastel Blue Hair Bow and Air Faerie Bubble Necklace. She also usually has a book with her and sometimes a tote or satchel to carry several with her. In winter, she wears either her Winter Prince Jacket with White Top Chop Trousers or her Snowboarder Sweater and Snowboarder Hat. She usually has a Wind Up Pocket Watch with her in her Winter Prince outfit, and for her Snowboarder outfits she usually wears Snowflake Face Paint and Yooyu Glasses.

Her humanoid outfits are relatively similar, except obviously she wears clothing and doesn't go without, because I'm not drawing her without clothing in a humanoid form. XP Her non-winter outfit consists of a light blue tank top and jean capris along with sandals, and then her usual accessories.

Personality

Aquanette is an intelligent and studious Acara who tends to always keep her nose in books while also trying to keep everything in order for her scatterbrained mother. She's very self sufficient and independent, and she can be rather motherly toward her younger "siblings." She tends to be friendly toward those she encounters, but she'd honestly prefer to have time to herself to read more books. She can be a little cheeky and is a bit of a know-it-all sometimes, but she always means well and rarely seems to let adversity get to her. Aquanette can also be rather playful and a bit childish at times even when she insists she's super mature and responsible, and she enjoys going to concerts, playing games, and exploring when she's not engrossed in her books.

Backstory

Aquanette was adopted by a weird 2nd grade gal as a blue Acara named Aquanet18. The two enjoyed exploring Neopia together, playing games, and collecting treasures. However, over the years the gal visited Neopia less and less frequently until she stopped coming entirely. Aquanette tended to drown out her loneliness in the heaps of books the gal had previously gifted to her, and she looked after their collection of treasures for about six years until one day... the gal returned!

With the gal's return came more exploration, more games, and more treasure, and to Aquanette's delight she even got three new siblings over the course of a little over a month: a Uni named Nyfringe, an Aisha named Aidravia, and a Poogle named Lavendefy. Less than a year later, another sibling arrived: Selina_Esther the Xweetok, and after that another sibling was adopted after noticing him getting passed back and forth through the pound for several months: an Ixi named knox_the_fox.

Despite a rather lengthy period of time being randomly turned invisible, Aquanette would say her life has gotten much better in recent years. Even though their weird mom got locked out of her accounts for over a year, she's managed to come back once again and has been spoiling her pets to make up for the lost time.
