Profile
Suikana are a species based on playing and tarot cards. They are separated into groups based on groupings of suits:
Additionally, every Suikana has a value based on the numerical value of the individual. This, along with suit, determines rarity as such:
- Values 2-10 of Spade, Club, Diamond, and Heart suits are Common Suikana
- Values Jack, Page, Knight, King, and Queen are Court Suikana
- Any Arcana (except The Fool) is an Honored Suikana
- Jokers, The Fool, and Aces are Trump or Trick Suikana
Suikana are generally divided into two groups based on suit:
- Tarot Card Suikana are numbered Ace through 10 and then Page, Knight, Queen, and King. These are Sword, Wand, Cup, Coin, Ring, and Pentacle Suikana. This group also includes Honored Suikana, numbered I through XXI, and The Fool.
- Playing Card Suikana are numbered Ace through 10 and then Jack, Queen, and King These are all other suits which are not Tarot Suikana, although Sword, Cup, and Coin Suikana can also be Playing Card Suikana.
Every Suikana has a personality and appearance depending on which card they're based on and that card's meaning and orientation. For example, an Ace of Cups might be creative (Violet (Ace Of Cups Suikana)) or a reversed Queen of Swords might be cold and aloof (Frost (Q⚔️🔄)).
