Time and Time Again

The many gods and goddesses of the Universe are constantly bickering with each other. Every one of them believes that his or her way is right, while others are absolutely wrong. With immortality on their sides, their fights become numerous and harsh. At times, the fights can lead to various gods or goddesses being weakened. When weakened, another god steps into their place to rule beneath their name for as long as they can. They don't understand how it disrupts the balance for those that they rule over, and many of them wouldn't care if they did know.

The Fallen

He has gone by many names, but the one he likes the best is Saturn. Currently in a weakened state due to one such battle, Saturn is bound to Earth. He cannot ascend back to the Heavens until he regains his powers, and must stay in hiding to avoid being found by other gods or goddesses who would like nothing more than to keep him weakened. He was found by a young housewife and her husband, and was given the option of staying with them while he regains his strength. Having never bothered to learn about the Earth before, Saturn is exploring the different things the planet has to offer. He likes to mingle with the humans, though he has a hard time remembering that his appearance makes it all too obvious he is not one of them. When going out in public, he wears a hooded sweatshirt and pants. They are not the most comfortable things he has ever worn, but they do a decent enough job of hiding his otherworldly look.

Important Figures

Candace Henderson - When Candace found Saturn, he was lying in her garden having fallen asleep there. She was afraid of him at first, and wasn't sure what to think, but soon offers Saturn her home to stay in while he recovers. Candace does not have a job, and spends many of her days alone. She takes care of the housework and making meals, but that can only occupy her for so long. Gods are known for having large appetites, and... hopefully you see where this is going. Candace has Saturn use his powers of time to read her future, and he eventually leaves her with a child.

Phil Henderson - Candace's husband. In the beginning he holds nothing against Saturn, and is even excited to have someone like him staying at his house. He thinks it a great opportunity to learn and study things, and is eager to help the god out. When he learns how Candace feels about Saturn, his attitude eventually changes. He begins looking for ways of exposing Saturn to the other gods and goddesses, to the police, or even the government. Anyone who can get Saturn out of his life without incurring the wrath of the god.
