name meaning
Azazelle is a feminized form of the name 'Azazel,' which is a relatively well-known demonic name. 'Schecter' is a Hebrew surname meaning 'ritual slaughterer.' I chose this combination because it was wildly goth.

Azazelle has been best friends with Pazuzu since the two of them were in middle school together, and she absolutely ADORES him even though he bristles and shies away from her a lot of the time. She knows that Pazuzu is stubborn and a bit of an anxious decision maker, so she expresses her affection for him by nudging and weedling him to do things that she knows he already WANTS to do, but hasn't worked up the courage to do yet. This clearly upsets him sometimes, but Azazelle would rather upset him for his own good than coddle him.

Succilin have normal, round pupils most of the time, but their pupils become heart-shaped when they experience strong desire, such as lust or hunger. Azazelle's tend to glow when she's feeling flirty or teasing people, or when she has some concert tickets or cute clothes she'd like to buy.
She and Pazuzu got matching tattoos when they were 18 - hers is a bat-winged heart low on her tummy, and his is a feathery-winged heart across his decollete. Her eyebrows are shaped like knives!
