Character
Highly sarcastic and headstrong, Shiba has her own way of doing things and dislikes people who try to boss her around. She has a very dry sense of humor and has very much adopted the 'lone wolf' persona in order to protect herself. Which is fine, except a few people never seem to leave her be, which makes her rather social for one. She is extremely skeptical towards 'outsiders' and it takes a lot to gain her trust. She doesn't take much very seriously, and mostly will get things done so she can be left alone (like that ever works). If a friendship is struck up with her, however, you'll be hard pressed to get rid of her- unless you betray her somehow. Shiba is fiercely loyal to those she cares about, and will go to the ends of the earth for anyone who falls under that category, even if she's not the best at expressing such sentiments.
HISTORY
Shiba was raised as an only child by adoptive parents Allison and Kevin Furlan, when she was just a baby. She has no knowledge of her birth family, and has no care to. She grew up in a cul-de-sac, living a relatively normal life on the surface: middle class family, typical schooling. There was just one problem: her family were strictly humans, and she was a shapeshifter, making for some interesting clashes in the family.
Her and her future best friend, Elaine Tsumiyoshi, met in middle school; more tba.
When she ran away from home at 17, she took nothing but a small suitcase of her stuff, her beat up car, and herself. She shed her adoptive parents' surname to make it more difficult to be tracked, picking up the surname Lyall instead.
TRIVIA
- Parkour has made her very adept at getting to hard to reach places: scaling buildings and traversing what might be dangerous territory rarely hinders her. It's also kept her in great shape; Shibe's lowkey ripped.
- Shiba is fairly skilled at tracking via scent / traditional methods, so long as the scent isn't stale or washed away.
- She's quiet- very quiet. She doesn't always need to sneak up on people, but the fact that her 'sudden' appearance into rooms regularly scares the shit out of people gives her life.
- She currently lives in an apartment with her two partners, Ikazuchi and Hotaru, and their (but mostly her) dog, a pitbull named Blue.
- Shiba is very handy in a fist fight, and her signature weapon is a metal staff that can break apart into two sections

Relationships
 | Ikazuchi MerloShiba's best friend and girlfriend. Ikazuchi and Shiba have been close since they were both small. Shiba trusts Ika with her life, and is one of the only people that she doesn't get tired of when around for too long. Though they can be serious at times, they're both snarky and have a tendency to be competitive with each other.  | Hotaru YoruShiba's boyfriend. Shiba tends to be less stoic and more relaxed around Hotaru. She occasionally drags him along to spar with her. Though she tries her best to downplay it, it's somewhat obvious that she cares for him a lot. He's one of the only people who's company she will willingly seek out. Since dating him, she's also gradually becoming more open in terms of emotions. |
| BlueAlthough Blue lives in an apartment shared by Shiba, Ikazuchi, and Hotaru, Shiba is Blue's primary caretaker. She's taught the dog a certain level of parkour, and they go on long runs together almost every morning. Blue is one of the few things in existence that will bring out Shiba's softer side. |
