SOLEDAD, THE MEXICAN GARDEVOIR
Pokémon OC of Atomic-417, a character from the artist's series of stories "Pokémon: Broken Souls"
Soledad's a special "Mexican" Gardevoir, proud of the culture and heritage of her trainer. She expresses that by adopting the fashion and customs of the place her trainer, Salvador, comes from.
Her past:
Soledad was adopted by Salvador when she was Kirlia, at the time he arrived to Obsidian City, in the Orre region. Before that, she used to belong to the leader of a villainous team from the region — Team Calavera —, who fortunately got arrested during a raid by the International Police. Under her former Master's orders, the Kirlia helped Team Calavera capture, trap, and illegally trafficking Pokémon, among other horrible actions.
Because she was young and naive, all that time she didn't know what the Team Calavera did with all the Pokémon she helped capture. Feeling guilty of ruining the lives of several Pokémon, the Kirlia refused to be adopted again after being transfered to a Pokémon Center.
Many time would pass, and a human named Salvador would stumble upon that Pokémon Center. He was faced with a desperate situation so he required a strong and loyal Pokémon to help him start his new life, and took an interest in the Kirlia.
Despite the objections and refusals coming from the little creature, the human didn't gave up on trying to convince her to start a new, clean slate, leaving her past actions behind.
Feeling true sincerity in his words, the Kirlia dared to accept a second chance and allowed herself to be adopted by Salvador, who then gave Soledad her actual name.
Over time, the bond between the two grew stronger: Soledad evolved into a Gardevoir soon after, and Salvador shared and taught his culture to her, who happily embraced it.
Giving each other the emotional support they deserve after the things they have gone through, it was to be expected that the two of them would eventually fall in love with one another.
White wedding:
Grateful towards Salvador for all he had done for them, and feeling slightly jealous of his relationship with the Braixen, Soledad asked him to marry her. Deciding to make their wedding in Fula City, they invited friends and peers for a small ceremony.
When the minister was about to conclude the wedding, Isabel interrupted the ceremony to tell the human what she really felt for him.
After a heartfelt moment, the Gardevoir bride convinced Salvador to accept the Braixen in their new marriage, and admitted Isabel deserved a happy ending more than she did. The young man then married them both, part of his promise to do anything to make them happy.
They spent their honeymoon vacation in the Alola region.
