Despite having been a ghost for a very long time before Meta, Eef tends to only reflect on his time up until rising Meta. Being Meta's ghost is by far the greatest accomplishment Eef feels he'll ever make, and lives every day appreciating all he can. Eef doesn't command or order Meta around, finding her decisions to usually be much more sound than his more emotional responses. Even if at the time he may not be able to tell why Meta is doing something, he has faith sooner or later it'll become clear. Instead, Eef enjoys Meta's company and tries his best to offer his companionship to her. When Meta keeps two steps ahead of everything herself, it can be a little difficult for Eef to provide something she doesn't already know, but still does his best to keep on top of things, both work and break related.
Though Meta's ghost, Eef often finds himself confiding in Meta more than vice versa. Whilst he knows and understands his guardian significantly better than anyone else, there are still a lot of things Eef feels Meta doesn't quite rely on anyone else for. It doesn't help that Meta seems to strive towards anything with such unsurmounting confidence whilst Eef finds even the unknown intimidating. It's all he can do, to continue moving forward in fear of getting left behind. Eef doesn't usually pry on topics Meta doesn't openly discuss, not that he'd get an answer if he did, and goes along with whatever Meta may have in mind. He does wish the guardian would approach life with more self preservation, often besides himself with worry and fear for his guardian but not for lack of faith in her abilities.
Eef has found himself enjoying a lot of their trips, adoring the exploration of the solar system and time spent away from the Tower. Eef loves hearing stories and the experiences of those they meet. He finds himself a little hesitant when appearing around new guardians, trying to keep a distance just in case danger is around the corner, but if Meta seems to trust someone, he's usually more willing to engage with them. So long as she's nearby, that is. Eef does care deeply for those they get to know, offering his comfort and concern to them without hesitation, and trusts Meta will do her best to look out for them in ways he can't.

- Eef's had his name since long before meeting Meta. She doesn't really pry nor question it, but Eef is quite fond of his name and doesn't seem to enjoy when guardians try to give him alternative nicknames. Similarly, his shell is from long before Meta, so naturally a change has never been suggested.
- As Eef spent the majority of his time unsuccessfully searching for his guardian, Eef isn't quite as well-versed in tower operations as other ghosts, however, a fast learner, with the help of Meta he picked things up quickly.
- Rarely strays from Meta's side, disliking how lonely it feels to not have a reassuring pressence nearby.
- Adores animals and will often grow upset or feel hurt at even the suggestion of harming one.
- Loves to sightsee and would love to see all the different sights and experiences with those he values.
- Loves to be held and receive core rubs, but only allows those he's grown to trust and care for enough.
- Easily spooked, often retreating to Meta, especially when approached by those he doesn't know well.
- Will bonk his ring against those he disagrees with, nothing hard or painful, but a little affectionately disapproving bop.
As Eef's guardian, Eef and Meta share a unique bond. Eef tries desperately to be as intuitive and resourceful as ghosts aim to thrive, but for the most part, Meta handles the majority of decisions and moral choices. Which Eef is fine with, he trusts Meta will always make the best decision in her power and will support her regardless. Though, he wishes she'd be more selfish sometimes and stop taking her life so lightly, often finding himself worried at just what lengths she'd go to for the greater good, regardless of the position it puts her in. Whilst he can sometimes find himself down on his abilities, he knows Meta will always pick him up and reassure him with some headpats, and that's more than enough for Eef. Eef settles for being a comforting ear whenever needed, and just desperately tries his hardest to ensure Meta always knows he's around.
With a lot of time and patience, Eef has slowly warmed up to DDoS. There are still aspects of him that intimidate or put off the small shell, but he finds DDoS' reliability and care for Meta trumps any reservation Eef has. Above all, he knows DDoS will go out of his way for Meta and as Meta cares the same for him, it was impossible for Eef to not grow attached to his pressence. As long as DDoS is around, he knows Meta is in much safer hands, and that alone means the world to Eef. Though they don't see eachother as often, Eef knows that he's often on Meta's mind, so tries to work their schedule around or remind Meta to pop back every now and then. Sometimes Eef just misses hearing the banter between the two guardians.
Eef was a little scared of the larger guardian, as he is with any titan, but the gentle giant quickly became a favorite of the little ghost. He appreciates Polar's sentimentality, despite his own position with the vanguard, not particularly interested in all the combat and war himself. He's still a little nervous that if Polar went to pat him, he'd end up crushed by mistake, but he's quickly warming up to the quiet titan as someone Meta can have some some calmer moments with. At the very least, Meta is more cautious when Polar is around to avoid worrying him, and Eef appreciates that greatly. A guardian who takes life a little more seriously outside of guardian work feels like a breath of fresh air for Eef.
Eef has a lot of trust in Castor. Even though they share a lot of different views on things, Eef has a lot of respect for Castor as a ghost and often looked up to him as what he should strive towards. Eef appreciates the comfort Castor brings simply with his pressence when the duo are stuck with their guardians being a little less that safe. He adores any moment they get the chance to catch up, always wanting to hear about Castor's day and anything new he's learnt. With a lot of admiration for the ghost despite the initial scare Castor's appearence gave the poor shell, Eef treasures Castor deeply and will always go out of his way to help the ghost if ever needed.
