But as it turns out, much of the arcane position of a Winterguard could easily be automated by a modern mage like Tóbias, and the current workload has been reduced almost entirely to the most basic upkeep of a wide-reaching enchantment. And so with the work reduced and pay kept the same, Tóbias is able to relax a fair bit more and even help out his local area more then usual.

While they may appear unfriendly or emotionally distant towards everyone he meets, Tóbias' demeanour is only surface level as a warming soul could be found beneath.
