Malik was the leader of Ira Fons long before it was even a kingdom. He lead his pack with an iron paw. Malik is harsh, manipulative and a control freak. He was born to the omega of the pack and worked his way up in the ranks until he killed the leader before him. However, this time was short as a faraway kingdom had sent some scouts near his pack. Malik promptly killed the intruders. When the kingdom didn't hear back from their scouts they sent another squad who were able to stay under Maliks radar long enough to report back that the others had been killed by a tyrant leader of a large pack. The kingdom decided to invade, not only to help those under Malik's rule but also to claim the land as well, as it was perfect to build a new kingdom on. Malik fought back with everything he had but was no match for the kingdom's army. He was forced out into the desert with only a few followers remaining.  Around this time Malik took to visiting what appeared to be a cheap and phony fortune teller. Malik was desperate to prove the king was going to lead them nowhere, so he demanded the fortune teller to reveal the future. When she could not he killed her in a fit of rage and sought another mystic. Time after time they failed him until one day one, a small white tom cat showed up out of the blue. He told Malik although he could not show him the future, he could control it. Malik, seeing how many others failed him, but was eager for power so he agreed to talk with him. While they talked about Maliks plans for the future, Malik vowed never to rest until he overthrew the rulers. The cat asked him if that was really what he wanted and Malik quickly snapped at him, saying it was. Next thing he knew the cat disappeared and nothing seemed to change. Malik worked for years on end, growing increasingly bitter, to overthrow the king. He hardly needed sleep, often pacing his den furiously. He gathered forces and planned but the king's spy caught wind of his plot and killed him before he could make a move. The rest of the resistance died out with him. However Malik's spirit could not rest until the new kingdom was overthrown.

Decades later and after much growth from the new kingdom, even splitting away from the original one, Malik is more desperate than ever to finish what he started.
