Yuri

Yuri was born 18 January 1952 in the city of Kirov, in the Kirov Oblast of the USSR. Little is known about his parents. As a child he mostly played alone and struggled to make friends. He seemed to be an outcast with unique interests. He learned to draw from an early age and enjoyed drawing people or from nature. He was quite close to his parents, especially his mother, who was protective of him. Yuri struggled in academics, but was exceptional in the arts.

In his adulthood, he lived alone until in 1972, a clone of himself appeared. During the years leading up to this event, he was often sick. He complained of a metallic taste in his mouth, headaches, nausea, and other symptoms associated with radiation poisoning. One night, the clone would split from his body like cells do in mitosis. The process took several hours and occurred while Yuri slept. The following day, the clone announced its name was Miroslav. In later years, Yuri grew close to his clone. They considered each other brothers.

In 1982, his son Aleksandr was born.

In 1990, it was revealed that Yuri was part of an affair with Polina.

Shortly before the fall of the USSR in 1991, he received a diagnosis of cancer, likely due to constant exposure to radiation. He was not expected to live more than a few years. He tried his best to keep it a secret. But over the years, his family noticed he was unlike himself. He slept more than usual, skipped meals, seemed out of breath, and his mood suffered. One day when all seemed normal, Miroslav asked "Yura, what is wrong with you?!" Yuri reached for his face to discover he had a nosebleed. He replied "I don't know." and fainted. Miroslav, now in a panic, went to Yuri's side and tried to wake him up. But there was no response. Not only that, but his nose kept bleeding. Miroslav grabbed a cloth nearby and put it to Yuri's face. He called for Polina and she came running.

In 1996, Yuri passed away due to his aggressive cancer.
