Gore is hotheaded, egotistical, and full of himself. He's a showman who loves to make an entrance and intimidate others. He surely has the skill to back it up, but that can sometimes get lost in the fact he's all too busy mouthing off most of the time. He isn't evil, persay, but he's definitely got a skewed moral code that lets him commit some pretty heinous things in the name of defending his self-declared legacy. He will push others around, manipulate and threaten people, and has no qualms whatsoever in bullying others. If you ask him- he'll try to defend it by saying it will "toughen them up". He feels a deep need to prove himself the strongest guy around, and can be very aggressive towards those he perceives as a threat.

Despite his bluster and loud mouth, he is much more reasonable and levelheaded around those who aren't really a threat to him (Like small children or meek individuals who don't provoke him). If he doesn't have something to prove, he can be downright kind and even protective. Having them look up to him as a protector appeases his ego all the same. 

He lusts for competition, and the main problem with becoming known as "The toughest around" means there's no one left to fight and that's boring. Which just ends up with him making more trouble in an effort to address his boredom or lure some sort of authority to stop him....just so he can fight them, of course.

Despite being a known criminal he does love the swamp and his home and the locals, and he'll gladly defend it as his territory. At least his being around means no other criminals would dare try and set roots in his area- lest they deal with his following punishment. He doesn't hurt or steal from locals, and if anything -helps them more often than not. Whether it's supporting local businesses with his ill-gotten finances or using his claws to tear through overgrown muck and vine so they can move their boats through the waters. 

Gore was born on a fishing ship in the deep swamps, where he spent most of his life. He grew up catching fish, swimming in the leech infested and tangled marshes- perfecting the art of maneuvering his body in the water and catching whatever he sets his sights on. He used this ability to join a ring of unsanctioned back alley swamp fights in his young teen years. From there he fell into some rough crowds that taught him to throw his weight around to get his way, and he quickly decided it was much more profitable than his family's fishing business. While he kept up fishing for the 'love of it', he got into more and more twisted dealings with unsavory characters and under the table agreements. The swamp provided cover- and for someone willing and able to navigate it... it was near impossible to get caught doing anything the nearby crime rings asked him to do.

However, don't misunderstand- as Gore serves no one but himself. His fighting skill, ability to use the environment to his advantage, and cunning means he's quickly over time become the crime lord of his swampy homeland. No one comes or goes without his knowing, and the only thing capable of standing in his way is his own ego, most days. To his credit, he'd much rather push around other criminals and show the 'big bads' who's badder than harass innocent people. He doesn't really care for bothering the locals or committing crimes for no reason. While he does enjoy the profits- his biggest motive has always been stroking his own ego and being the toughest guy around. As long as you don't try and argue his supremacy of the swamp- he really has no reason to pick an unnecessary fight. Though if someone looks tough he might challenge them just to prove a point.
