Asia's Links
Jeff is loud and mean and quirky but she can deal with that. She never once felt afraid of him. He talks about overthrowing the Slenderman and she decides she might as well be on his side. She cares for him as a friend does.
Asia is mysterious and upsetting. Jeff hates how the Slenderman plays with peoples' lives like this. It's worse that Asia seems so unbothered. Still, Jeff can't help for his loneliness to get the better of him, and he kind of lives for her support and companionship. It's selfish and wrong, and he waits in terror for the day she realizes he's a monster.
Cat is great, and Asia doesn't mind her protectiveness, even if it is unnecessary. She lends a lot of new perspective to chew on.
She feels protective over Asia and particularly relates to her as similar people in a really just sucky situation. She doesn't trust Jeff around her and kind of moms her even though she's only a year older. There's a lot of trying to do normal human stuff with her even though it's clear Asia isn't entirely a person yet at the beginning of the story.
