Captain Moebius

Captain Moebius is a stern, authoritative woman that you'd do best to keep on the good side of.

...you didn't honestly believe that, did you? Pahaha, oh darling, as if! No, no, Captain Moebius is a pirate through-and-through, a regular gal who likes to cut loose and have fun. Good-natured but crass, and full of swagger, she's a merry outcast that adores her little band of misfits.

Or so she'd try to tell you, right before asking if you had any tattoos?~

Famously promiscuous, Moebius is known best for being a sleaze. She's a shameless flirt happy to speak her vulgar mind, pursuing even the most inappropriate of targets, and with a variety of trophy names credited to her. Her brazenness does lead to trouble, but just as often she's found her way into the bed of some mythical pirate figure, or charmed her way out of too severe a punishment. The gullible and naive are easy prey, though she enjoys teasing and exploiting such sad critters much more than sleeping with them. Even she has standards, after all.

While she can keep her head down and play nice, she much prefers to be as loud as possible. She's a sore loser and backed into a corner, resorts to violence. When sex isn't an option, throwing her weight around is just as effective a means for satisfying her whims~

 APPEARANCE

Moebius is a tall woman, standing 5'10 and sporting a sturdy build from years of manual labour. Her hair has a natural, slow curl, and hangs past her hips. (As a male, Moebius also sports a small beard.) She has green eyes, and after she's blinded in one eye, facial scarring; she also rocks an eyepatch at that point. She wears a trio of sterling earrings per ear.

Her skin is dark with a warm undertone and her hands are surprisingly deft, thus her skill with thievery. Her lower abdomen features three ragged scars that stretch to more gruesome imagery along her ribs, said to be the work of a sexually harassed sky animal. Other scarring is present but far less remarkable, their cause and colour having long since faded amongst a networking of tattoos. The tattoos themselves are varied in size, colour, and even intent, ranging from common to crude.

Moebius dresses in a fancy captain's hat over a bandana, and long navy-blue coat, flaunting a variety of polished silver with it. Her shirts are worn very open and suggestive; rarely laced, and when they are only loosely. Her belt is worn tied off atop a sash, and attached is a scabbard frog for her cutlass. She wears a pair of necklaces: one with a pair of carved skulls of hell beasts, and the other a symbol of allegiance to the late Captain Delmont.

She typically relies on her saber in a duel; because of a strong preference for beating people to death she strikes frequently with the handguard.

  ISPAZ BALINN

The Ispaz Balinn is an agile sky-ship that preys nearly exclusively on the fat merchants of Haven Port. She specializes in hunting larger vessels, but her age has started slowing her down and leaving her more vulnerable. While she doesn't turn down a meal, the bulk of her fortune is made through smuggling. She ferries in a number of rare and exotic goods, which has ingratiated her to the underworld present in Haven Port and much of the surronding isles. 

Her relic status is most obvious in how she still bears the symbols of Delmont, a pirate lord slain several years ago. The Ispaz Balinn uses the same red flag she bore while part of he and his daughter's fleet, an oath to slaughter all aboard if surrender isn't total and immediate. The Ispaz Balinn always carries through on this threat, though none of her crew can be said to enjoy slaying the helpless or cowering. It at least helps in minimizing a reputation for ruthlessness.

The crew are treated with respect, and their safety is utmost priority for any decisions made. Punishments are usually handled by a vote of officers, though on a rare occasion the Captain has personally executed troublemakers. The ship is mostly run democratically, with the Captain seizing full control only when the crew or ship is in imminent danger (though with her force of personality and close relationship to the quartermaster, more often than not Moebius is afforded the same power and respect). What rules are enforced mostly concern keeping conflict levels down.

She is currently under a very expensive contract with Captain Naji'im, who is best known as the Deepstalker.
