Axel is easily described as someone who is extraordinarily kind, outgoing, and friendly. He makes friends easily, and his demeanor really makes it difficult for people to dislike him even if they find his cheerfulness annoying. He's pretty laid-back all things considered, and tends to just enjoy speaking to people. Axel is pretty unnassuming of people, which often leads to him getting taken advantage of in numerous ways. Even when someone wrongs him, it's likely he'll give them just about a million second chances because he believes in the inherent good of everyone. It's hard for him not to empathize with people, even criminals. Unless they hurt someone he cares about, of course.
Axel doesn't show much emotion besides simple happiness; which is sometimes a little offputting to people. He's certainly a scary person when mad, especially since his stature and physicality can be intimidating to some. He has no problem with immediately getting up and helping friends when they're in danger, and will certainly use his eminence or whatever he has in his disposal to get rid of potential threats. Axel is unfortunately a little dim when it comes to actual detective work. He tends to require more simplified explainations of things and has to be told plans numerous times for him to get them right, but he does his best regardless! He doesn't really get upset when he's yelled at or harshly criticized; he simply acts understanding towards it. Axel is a little weird in multiple ways, and not as simple as he appears to be..

- EMINENCE
- "BLACKSMITH" — Axel's eminence allows him to create or modify scrap parts or metals into other useful items. He tends to carry around various metal things in a big ol' heavy bag so that he can use his eminence when he needs to on the go.
- Bigger items that Axel wants to make require more parts and more metal. Something like a taser would require a battery or some kind of charge, and things such as guns would obviously require him to make bullets alongside them. Axel's eminence is very flexible, and he can even make more strange things like a toaster or a microwave if he really wanted to. Just so long as he had the parts to! The things he makes typically take a couple minutes to form and create depending on their size, but he can speed up the process significantly if he uses a hammer which he tends to carry around.
- Axel can change things such as spoons into other things as well. These count as scrap, after all.
- He has a criminal record. You know, he really doesn't seem to like talking about that either.. it may be the only thing he'd shut up about!
- Axel can speak Spanish.
- His bag is pretty unassuming from the outside, but it is very, very heavy. And full of lots of metal. He tends to forget what he's carrying in there, so almost always he gets stopped by metal detectors when he goes through them. The noise doesn't even scare him anymore!
- Axel doesn't enjoy cigarettes, rather he chooses to vape. He likes sweet flavors. Since he can't smoke inside the detective agency and tries to quit nicotine every so often, there's periods of time where he simply eats candy cigarettes.. he goes through a lot of them.
- Axel's birthday is January 31st. He's an aquarius.
- Becoming a detective definitely wasn't his first choice, but the agency took him in regardless of his record! For that, he's forever grateful. He tries to be as useful as he can.
- He's good at cooking! He often comes into the agency with food for his co-workers.
- He's got a GPS always located on him. Since he has a criminal record, it's something he's required to have in contract if he wants to work in the detective agency. Griff is always monitoring his whereabouts!
- Axel has what's called intermittent explosive disorder. He doesn't often get angry or upset about anything, but there are certainly things that can really trigger and set him off into an inconsolable episode that are almost impossible for him to stop. Axel is, on his own, technically considered a violent person due to this as he acts in ways out of his or anyone else's control. He really isn't someone who should be carrying around weapons.. it's just lucky that he's so normally calm.

- He always forgets to brush his hair in the morning, so it's pretty messy all the time.
- Axel's always wearing some kind of bandage on his face.
- He has small eyebags under his eyes. He doesn't seem to get a lot of sleep, for some reason..
- He has a mole under his eye.
- Since Axel finds tying a tie so difficult, he doesn't wear one with his button up. He doesn't fix his collar that often, either.
