• Please draw him without the swirls or spirals in his eyes!
• The bangs on the right side of his face are longer than the ones on the left.
• His usual self is rather calm and rather joking around, only as "Black Butterfly" he shows his rather crazy face. He's quite well at hiding the latter, please keep that in mind when drawing him.

Backstory

Sen 25XX | Age: 4 | Torn apart

Ezra lived together with his family, his parents and his two years younger brother  Linus.
His father had always been fighting with his mother, until it finally escalated. When Ezra was four years old, his father forced him to go with him to Ylteria. What he didn't knew at that point was that he wouldn't be able to contact his mother and brother anymore due to the strict regulations between Xitan and Ylteria. Sadly, that wouldn't be his only problem...

Sen 25XX | Age: 8 | Saved at last

As Ezra and his father moved in their new flat, their already not great relationship only got worse. He often locked his son alone in his room to not disturb him... but sometimes forgot about him. While Ezra was very scared at first, sooner or later he slowly got used to being so neglected. He used the time to read a lot, simply hoping that his door would soon open again.

Unfortunately it only got worse the older he got. The times he was forced to stay in his room got longer and longer... and more and more often he didn't get to eat or drink something. Eventually, Ezra couldn't endure it anymore. One day, when he heard that his father had a guest, he knocked at his door - which he was forbidden to do usually. The guest, a woman, noticed it despite his father denying it... and was shooked when she opened the door and find the eight years old in such a terrible state. She took Ezra with her and made sure that he'd get the help he'd need.

Eventually, he got into a hostel for children and got a few therapy sessions as well, yet due to the costs they ended as quickly as they began.
Being with other helped Ezra to develop a more open personality on the surface, though he never really let someone close to him. He didn't want any contact to other people... he simply wanted back to his mother and brother. It was then when Ezra found out that contact to Xitan residents was forbidden, which not only killed his hope to get back to his real family but also made him despise his father even more. If he wouldn't have taken him to Ylteria, none of this would have happened... They'd still be together... He'd still be happy...
