GenderTarale is the son of warriors Shallot and Pan, who met after Shallot was flung forward through time alongside his brother Giblet. Immediately after they had him, however, the family was separated, leaving their son to be raised by old family friend Master Roshi. Even separated from his parents' legacies, Tarale was dedicated to improving as a fighter. Now that he's grown, he travels the world alongside his girlfriend Bambi, looking for ways to both increase and use his strength for good.
In nearly every situation, Tarale carries himself with good-natured confidence. He's an optimist, almost stubbornly so, who hates to give up on someone's potential. Beyond just fighting for himself, he seeks to push others to become stronger as well. He's got some pride in his abilities, but he can swallow his ego when defeated; he'd rather turn that loss into an opportunity to improve than just sit on it. The thing he struggles to understand most is romance, much to Bambi's frustration.

- Wild Howitzer – A modification of his father's Wild Cannon. Tarale creates two powerful balls of ki before combining them into one and punching it towards his opponent.
- Wild Mortar – The evolution of the Wild Howitzer. The blast from Mortar scatters rather than hitting a single point.
- Kamehameha - He trained at the Turtle School, he's gotta know this.

- Ki Sense – Can sense the energy of others, even from a distance.
- Instant Transmission - His great-grandfather taught him to use this technique. He can teleport to people by sensing their energy.
- Telepathy (basic) - Another trick his great-grandfather shared with him.
- He doesn't use them all that much, but he inherited both his family's Flying Nimbus and Power Pole.

- Super Saiyan – Trained with fairly extensively, up to SS3
- SSG – Unlocked this form pretty recently, and isn't all that trained with it yet. He's working on it, though.
- Great Ape – His tail allows him to enter this form after looking at the full moon.
- Kaioken - A go-to strategy of his, which gives him a burst of power at the expense of additional exhaustion.
Tarale learned the basics of martial arts and ki control at the Turtle School, but since then has trained under many different masters, both Saiyan and Earthling. Nowadays, his fighting style mixes Earthling martial arts with the brutal beatdown style of the Saiyans. He's got a lot of power that he rarely gets to make full use of; in fights against weaker opponents, he'll favor basic melee strikes in order to give them a fighting chance. But against his peers, he'll bring out his flashier ki blasts and transformations.
Tarale's tail is black rather than the usual brown of modern Saiyans.
Around others, he usually wraps his arms in bandages. Underneath are a series of training scars from when he was younger. He's not ashamed of them or anything, but they tend to scare people when he leaves them uncovered.
He usually wears his Turtle uniform, but he's happy just to throw on something casual too, usually in blues or reds. He possesses a red set of Ancient Saiyan armor.
- Tarale's name is based off of taro roots (ok actually my bf picked it "sounded like a vegetable," whatever that means, and retroactively named him after the taro root).
- He was created as a Xenoverse OC in 2016, but his backstory/parents/lore weren't decided until much later. His current story began last year as a collaboration between me and my bf.
- Crazy and supernatural stuff has become pretty normal to him, and he tends to act like it's normal to everyone.
- His speech is pretty casual, with a lot of slang.
