Physical Appearance

• Very long dark green hair that sometimes blazes into green flames when she's angrily channeling magic
• Jade green eyes that sometimes burn with green flames when her hair does as well
• Black markings around eyes that resemble winged eyeliner
• Pale, almost white skin
• Very tall in height with particularly long legs
• Medium to somewhat large breasts
• Somewhat curvy
• Physically fit with an elegant yet strong build
• Green crystal markings on both biceps, from which real crystals can grow from when channeling certain magic
• Can turn into an Emerald spirit, which is often numerous, small, burning green wisps
• Her entire body can become crystalized when using select spells

Can take on various other forms with her magic, although the ones described are the most common.

Clothing Style

Emerald is only ever seen wearing the same outfit when in her normal, humanoid form. This consists of a sleeveless dress with a black top with a green V-shaped section on the chest and a layered semi-transparent green skirt that is open in the front starting slightly above the knees. She wears long green gloves, the top section from her mid-bicep to below the elbow being semi-transparent while the bottom section below her elbows are opaque. There are green crystal symbols on the backs of both hands as well. The collar of her shirt consists of a light green material that appears triangular when viewed from the front (or the back if her hair's not in the way), which covers her shoulders and the middle ends above her bustline. Her headpiece is primarily black, is triangular in the back, and shapes down in front along the bridge of her nose. The top has a green crystal (that may or may not be attached to her head...) and the sides have green cloth flaps that cover her ears.

Personality

Very little is known about Emerald and her true nature. She comes off as a very severe and harsh woman that is manipulative, aggressive, and relentless. She is known for her ultimate goal of putting an end to Minarai's story at all costs, and she will stop at nothing to achieve this, no matter who or what stands in her way. She is an eloquent, sharp tongued, and bitter sounding spirit with an intimidating and imposing demeanor. Emerald does not smile and either seems hostile or neutral with her outward expressions.

Despite her reputation and harsh actions, Emerald does have an elegant and delicately meticulous side with her rituals. She exudes a much more calm and serene presence when practicing the deep magic of the Emerald Spirit collective (unless that magic involves destroying something, during which she will literally be burning with rage). She apparently has a very gentle and melancholy side when left "alone" to her own devices, but no one aside from the other Emerald Spirits has likely witnessed this.

Abilities

• Mastery over various magics of Minarai, which include:
  • Shapeshifting
  • Splitting into individual collective spirits or rejoining as her humanoid form
  • Utilization of the various crystals of Minarai, particularly the green and various dark colored ones
  • Virtually immortal, and slaying her will only cause her to split into spirits or disappear and regenerate
  • Teleportation and flight by hovering
  • Superhuman strength, stamina, and reflexes
  • Short ranged foresight into the next events of Minarai's story

• Maliciously vengeful and doesn't care what she destroys to reach her goals
• Manipulative, extremely volatile with her emotional expression, and has very little value for individual lives
• Very isolated and lonely within her collective

Backstory

The origins of Minarai are still shrouded in mystery as the tome waits for a new master. However, the Emerald Spirit collective has existed since the beginning along with the other spirit collectives. All that is known now is that all but the Emerald and Ruby collectives have been imprisoned, and only a new master may free them. Emerald and Ruby have been archenemies for as long as any of Minarai's denizens can remember. All that is known is that Emerald seeks to put an end to Minarai's story, and Ruby strives to allow the story to continue. The spirits have battled each other for ages, and when two new outsiders fall into the realm of Minarai, Emerald immediately becomes interested in the boy named Tobi. Although her intentions are still unknown, she is very interested in the dark crystal that has embedded itself into his arm and the new powers it seems to be giving him.
