Aloof and critical--he has a sour and unfriendly attitude. Although he holds others to a high standard, he's rather neglectful when it comes to himself. "Don't imitate me," he'll say after you try to turn his nagging back on to him. Instead of bettering himself, he's more focused on supporting and advising younger chiot, whether they want it or not. He's also blunt and scathing in his words, swears flying freely from his mouth. Those with thick skin or an oblivious mind might find his sarcastic observations amusing and his selfish support affectionate. He's not jolly company at all, except when you get him a couple rounds of heavy drink at the pub. His impatience and quick-temper are toned down then too. Sor really doesn't have much patience for things, so he finds himself frustrated with people often. Already pessimistic by nature, he tends to give up on others if his words seem to fall on deaf ears. The group he will never give up on, though, are kids. Although he's not particularly gentle with them, he is very forgiving and puts a lot of hope in their futures. Luckily, he's not overly nosy... not to say he isn't. But even if he believes he knows what the right thing is, he's not that determined to micro-manage everyone. He'll grumble before he steps in. His social skills are definitely rough and lacking in tact.

Besides having a good drink every-now-and-then and going to work, Sorrel practices fighting skills. He was a rough youth and still enjoys a good fight to this day. He's particularly fond of short blades. He has some pride in his abilities. His overall self-worth is on the low side, so he can be surprisingly sensitive when he's taken down a peg whether it's in combat or social situations. He becomes much more meek and closed off, not wanting to show weakness to anyone. Partly, fighting something is a chance for him to beat down something that isn't him. Sor understands that showing such sides to others is a way to seek comfort and deep bonds, but he's not interested in making the effort, when his mind tends to find things wrong with everyone most of the time. However, he does have people he respects or finds interesting to talk to.
