Hawk is a swashbuckler tabaxi who loves to sail the seas with her crew and her girlfriend, Light. She and her crew spend their time as vigilantes of the seas, raiding the ships of the rich and greedy to support herself and her ragtag crew, all of whom she took in when they had nowhere else to go. Her crew- and especially her girlfriend- are family to her, and she'd fight tooth and nail to protect them. She can be a bit wary of outsiders and has her fair share of enemies, but at the end of the day, she always tries the best to do right by her crew.
About
When Hawk was young, she lived in a small tabaxi village with her wealthy parents and her twin sister, Robin. She was a good childhood friend of Light, but the two of them often went on adventures that were a bit too much for Robin. Hawk tended to tease her sister and exclude Robin from things she and Light did together, especially when the two of them would steal expensive looking baubles and trinkets from Hawk's parents to help support Light's family, who didn't have much money. Eventually, Hawk's family started to notice, and her relationship with them became strained as she continued to rebel into her teenage years.
As a last ditch attempt to keep Hawk from rebelling, her parents tried to reign her in by arranging a marriage for her, thinking it would help her settle. Upon finding this out, Hawk was terrified, as she had just begun to recognize that she had feelings for Light. She decided to run away, stealing a necklace which was (unbeknownst to her at the time) a precious and incredibly expensive family heirloom, pawning it off for enough gold to buy a boat and leave with Light.
Ever since then, Hawk has continued stealing in order to benefit others like her who might be down on their luck with nowhere else to turn, providing for the less fortunate as best she can.

Light [ girlfriend ]
Light is Hawk's girlfriend. The two got together shortly after setting off to sea together. They can often be seen together on their ship, and their crew often jokingly refers to the pair as their moms.
Mardune [ rival ]
Mardune is one of Hawk's most persistent rivals. The two often spar together, though never to the point of trying to outright kill each other. Hawk sees the relationship as a playful one, often teasing him.
Robin [ sister ]
Robin is Hawk's twin sister. Hawk teased her sister a lot growing up, and the two only continued to grow apart as they aged, with Robin growing to resent her. Hawk lost contact with her sister after she fled her hometown with Light.
