Terry Lawrence

The reincarnation of the first Terry.
He's still dead inside and hates his job.

Terry once started out as a promising man. He studied at a prestigious school and was enthusiastic about teaching.
But as he waited for a job at the elementary to open up, he was handed a job at the high school to teach band.
Days turned into months, and months turned into years. Terry's bright eyes dulled, and his smile turned upside-down. Now he counts the hours while trying his "best" to keep students from breaking the classroom.

Notes: The more I made new characters the more I had to face the sad reality that Terry wouldn't always be around. I can't make him immortal, that would defeat his purpose! I toyed around with the idea of a second version of him to be around in the latter generations, but it didn't really solidify until I saw this design for sale! He's more or less meant to be a copy of Terry, just for time's sake, but with a little fun of making him opposite!

Personality: Even in his new iteration, Terry is still nihilistic and pessimistic. He's sarcastic, though sometimes too much so. He rarely smiles, he's not even sure he's capable of doing so anymore, and has a shorter temper than his past life. Despite that, and despite getting frustrated easily, he doesn't yell at his students unless a fight starts or they spill his tea.

- Managing to run off three hours of sleep and a diet of trash food.

Drawing Details: His tie is never on right. He has bags under his eyes and always has a frown on his face, either looking tired or irritated. He has tattoos on his forearms to help him remember how music works.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- You may think that's a thermometer in his mouth, but that's a cigarette.

- He still gets sick, but not as often as his past life.

- There's a couch in his office he often sleeps on, sometimes for the night after work.

- Wants to be a homeroom fourth grade teacher. 

- Has several different certifications for different subjects to teach. Never thought he'd use them first instead of the one he wanted.

- He got his tattoos when he was drunk. Both regrets and doesn't regret them, as he checks them often.

- Loves spicy food. Carries a small thing of hot sauce with him.

- Has two younger siblings.

- Primary instrument is bassoon.

- Always drinking boba tea. Always.

- Tries to grow plants.

- Hates coffee and refuses to try any kind.
