Kanlu

Kanlu has a very sunny disposition. He loves doing his job, and enjoys being able to talk with other people. His favorite thing to do is to count the stars that were visible in the sky, and to dust off the shelves in the West Wing. He is almost always well rested; after all, his working time is only during the night when the moon is up. 

Powerful yet morally sane people are usually the ones that are allowed to enter his part of The Library. These sorcerers were the ones who would use dangerous spells for the good of other people in exchange of harming themselves. The King of the Lands was one of the people who would visit frequently. Kanlu enjoys talking to him, and he aids him with some tough decisions the King has to make. In exchange, The King would tell him stories about his very young son, Seph, and stories of his 3 students (Memori, Ishmael, and Amias) whom he considers his children. 

Do not be fooled by Kanlu's happy-go-lucky personality; he was responsible for the numerous murders that have occurred inside The West Wing. The people who killed were mostly thieves who think they can steal some artifacts, and others were evil magic users who did not expect the West Wing Guardian to be so strong. 

He longs to be able to talk to moroe people often, since it gets so lonely whenever he works. There were days when no one wouuld visit him, and all he could do was count the stars again and again. 

He and Silan have never seen each other, but they are aware of the presence of the other. The first time they got to see one another was a day before the Great Flood, which was when they had to do something extremely drastic together in order to save The Library.

"I have not met my counterpart from the East Wing yet... do you think he'll get along with me? I just want someone to talk to... I feel so lonely during the nights."

The Library has 3 parts: The Center, The East Wing, and the West Wing. 

The Center ✢ contains a large globe which is actually a capsule in disguise (capsules are objects that have the capacity to carry any amount magical energy and store it forever-ish. The energy stored is drained when used, but can be re-filled). It is actually the largest capsule to exist in the universe, which is why it was disguised to keep people from stealing it. The globe capsule is also a unique and rare kind since it had the ability to absord energy from the Source no matter how far it was, giving the Library an infinite amount of energy. 

The East Wing ☼ contains "safe" information. This part of the Library is guarded by Silan. It is has books about healing, spells, history, and even records of people who was alive at that time. It also has some interesting artifacts and displays, such as plant fossils that existed at a certain time period, etc. As days pass, a certain 'force' fueled by the energy from the Source writes whatever new information surfaces on in blank books. All info are arranged meticulously, and it is the job of the 2 Booklings to supply the Library with blank books. The East Wing consists of a lot of books that are available to the public, and is open from 6 am to 5 pm.

The West Wing ☾ contains extremely dangerous information, spells and curses. This part of the Library is guarded by Kanlu. Not everybody is allowed to get inside, and sometimes during the times it is open, only 1 or 2 sorcerers would occupy the place. Information stored here could potentially change the world in a drastic way, which is why the number and type of people that come in are severely controlled. A lot of cursed objects are hidden safely inside this place. The West consists of a lot of books that are not available to most of the public, and is only open from 10 pm to 3 am ONLY when the moon is visible in the sky during the duraton.
