STORY

PERSONALITY

Karina, the child of a king and queen of the underworld. She was conceived in times of great wealth, of great power and of great fear over the kingdom. Belier was the kingdom she was born in. The underworld posseses 3 dominant cities, where the rulers of evil but also good, live in. Belier was ruled by a king who was selfish, arrogant, manipulative and powerful, but also in contrast, a queen, who was kind hearted, selfless, and passionate for the lives of others. The king was indeed in love with this woman, but when she had asked for a child, he began to worry, for they say that a Demon king, a beast that is immortal, is taken off their throne and position, once an heir with a great power surges up and defeats them in battle. The king knew, that with the power of his fire, and the wind controlling power his queen possesed, their offspring would be much more powerful than himself. She became pregnant without his permission, just but mere mistake, but she had heard that the king was planning on killing her. She heard it from a noble servant. One of the twins that was training to become a powerful shinigami. Ruka, was this little boy's name. He helped her escape but told her that no matter where she went in the underworld, she would get killed, for all the kingdoms were notified that she was bearing the offspring of a human. That she had betrayed the king for her own lust and desires. Well she did know, he had done that by his own self with a human woman in her own world. But that was it. She had the idea as soon as she thought of it. She looked over into a pit, a dark pitched hole that lead to a new world. A new world where she had to hide who and what she and her daughter were. A world where judgments are based on politics, rumours and fear. But it would keep them alive. After all, how hard could it be to pretend to be a human?

Growing up with a pair of horns sure wasn't easy when everyone else didn't have them. She was a crybaby when little, but her mother kept telling her she was a beautiful special human, but to not burn her classmates if she burst in tears. She was clueless as to what she was, and as she grew older, and managed to hide her wings, she was certain she wasn't a mere human, which made her become conscious of herself. When in school, there was a strange boy, a boy with green hair and sharp yellow eyes. His name was Naku, but oddly enough, the only person he came over to talk to, was her. She was known for being a cosplay freak even tho the horns weren't cosplay, and her taste in clothes was a bit weird, but still was normal. She became fond of him, and became best friends. She was caring, knowing that no matter what anyone told her, she was gonna be herself, and to those who were mean, she was even kinder to them. When graduating, her mother told her she was going to leave town for a little while, but after that, she had never come back. Karina tried to get help from the police, but after months of searching, investagation gave up on the search, for there were no clues of the lead to this woman. Inside of her she felt her mother was alive, and she was somewhere out there, but that somewhere seemed hidden. Her determination to stay alive made her get a job as soon as she graduated, in a well known cosplay cafe that appreciated her looks. They all think her horns are implants, and her clothes are beautiful. Naku started living with her "to help her" with finances of the little apartment. Karina was forever grateful to him, and to his best friend Guido of course, who she met at the last year of her high school life. Him and Naku don't get along well, but Guido makes him smile from time to time and Karina can't help but think there is something more. Oh yes, she was a total romantic. Now that she is alive, she will seek for her mother, but she is also kind of afraid of the pair of twins she sees from time to time. Why does one look at her like a prey, and why does the other look at her with... longing?
