Mint Agate

Minty was the mutated result of a project that focused on mass-producing artificial gems that could heal by not using the energy of an entire planet, but the energy of a single living organism. The type of living organism chosen was a mint plant for the project, as mass amounts of it could be acquired in a short time. The project was a success. Several Mint Agates were created, proving to be useful to homeworld. These Mint Agates were used not only for medicine, but for defensive purposes as well. After the project ended, the remaining Mint Agates were collected and taken to homeworld. However, because Minty never emerged from her hole in time, she was considered to be a dud, and the project leader at the time did not want to be bothered with cleaning up what they thought to be a dud, and left Minty there. Because Minty is overcooked, she has a slim frame rather than the frame of the average Mint Agate. Many decades after, Minty finally emerged from her hole into a deserted kindergarten. For a long time, she hung around her kindergarten, exploring what was left of it. Not finding anything there to be of interest to her, she left the kindergarten to explore the countryside of Greece. After two days of encountering plants and animals, she encountered a young farmer who was hurt. Mentioning that she could help him, the young farmer reluctantly agreed, but warned her not to do anything funny. With the farmer's wound healed, he grabbed Mint Agate and brought her to his village. He claimed that she had healing powers that were a gift from Apollo, and had her heal everyone else in the village. Believing that Minty should be in Apollo's' temple, she was taken to Delphi. where she was greeted by human maidens that believed her to be a gift of Apollo. Word spread around about, and citizens from Greece and Rome came to view this “gift” of Apollo. Treated like a princess, citizens gave her offerings in worship and return, she healed them of her minor wounds. She became very accustomed to this lifestyle, and became highly protective of her gifts and maidens. So to learn how to defend her items and maidens, she slowly taught herself how summon bombs from her tail. Throughout the time of the Greek empire, Minty stayed at the temple of Apollo, where she developed her love for theater until the fall of the Greek empire in 146 BC. Minty was offered the chance to leave Delphi for a safer place. However, due to her unwillingness to leave her treasures, she refused to leave. She also did not treat her maidens well either. She used pottery that she didn't like that took a long time for the maidens as target practice, and sometime grazed the maidens with the bombs. The maidens, scared for their lives and sick of Minty and her selfishness, left the temple, and left a feeling of betrayal in Minty as well. In 146 BC, the fourth Macedonian war took hold, and Minty watched as Delphi collapsed from the attacking army. When the army came to destroy the temple and take Minty for their own temple, Minty tried to defend her temple from the soldiers, but was overwhelmed by the numbers. A soldier picked her up, and embedded her in a mirror he had made for his wife. Right after he set her in the mirror, the temple's pillars that had been damaged in the fight between the soldiers and Minty. The soldier that had grabbed Minty's gem tried to run out, but right as the soldier was almost out of the temple, the structure collapsed, the only thing spared was the soldier's lifeless hand, sticking out of the rubble, gently grasping Minty's gem. Many years after, Minty, encased in the mirror was found, and the person that discovered the mirror realized that it could heal. However, the plants that surrounded the person grew rapidly. The person, afraid, dropped the mirror and left. A the plants grew around the mirror, forming a forest. The person told their family and friends, and eventually the mirror grew into nothing more than a legend. Eventually, Indicolite heard about this legend and decided to investigate. She discovered the forest the mirror was surrounded in, realized that it was a gem trapped in a mirror. She explored the forest, and eventually found the mirror embedded in a large mirror bush. After a bit of effort, she pulled the mirror out of the bush and released Mint Agate from it. When Indicolite first saw Minty after she reappeared, she realized that Minty was an overcooked Agate, and her powers could be used for the benefit of others. Of course,Minty did not want to offer her powers for free. To convince her to come with her, she offered Minty her own stage where she was always the star, and gems could come and be dazzled by her talent. In return, Minty had to offer her powers to Indicolite whenever needed. Minty, entranced by the thought, agreed to go with her to the Fire Sprite Village.She could perform whenever she wanted and could get the attention she deserved! Minty currently runs a theater in the village, performing plays with other gems, teaching them the art of theater, and is still trying to accept the fact that she can’t have the main role in plays all the time. However, if there is a play and Apollo, the god that Minty was once thought to be a gift from, she demands to be Apollo. No buts about it!
