Physical Appearance

• Very long brown hair, always worn in braided pigtails

Clothing Style

Violet used to dress rather warmly in rather cutely-styled winter wear when she used to live on Shivarstra, but since moving to Air City where it's much warmer, she's taken up mostly wearing cute shirts or tank tops with shorts. She doesn't wear skirts or dresses without shorts or leggings undernearth since she flies so often, and her gloves are usually short when riding/flying or longer if not, and they color coordinate to her outfit. She never wears footwear that isn't fully secure, so she doesn't wear simple flats or flip flops and tends to only wear tightly laced on running shoes, light weight boots, or sandals that strap on securely. Violet always has bows on the ends of her braids and a larger one at the back of her head, the colors usually matching her outfit as well. She frequently wears purple with some pink or light blue accents.

Personality

Violet is a free spirited and rather bubbly girl that loves being outdoors and especially being in the sky flying, either through her rifting or on her Mech. She has a kind heart and is always willing to lend a hand to those who need it, although she can be a bit passive sometimes and has trouble saying no to others. She can be a touch shy, but this doesn't prevent her from being friendly to anyone she encounters. Despite how light hearted and somewhat timid she may seem, Violet can be a bit of a daredevil when it comes to air stunts. She frequently jumps off of high buildings or mountains just to feel the rush of falling and then use her rifting or Mech to swoop dangerously close to the ground before looping back into the air. She seems to show no fear when in the sky, and she is very controlled with her rifting so she rarely has anything to worry about. She also loves to explore and see new sights, so she's very often on the move.

Violet is a very encouraging friend to have, and although she tends to underestimate herself, she has the utmost faith and confidence in her peers when they pursue their goals. She is especially supportive of her close friend, Dar’Kenai, who is the reason why she left Shivarstra in the first place so she could help him with his Air City project. Violet has a rather large crush on him, so she can get a little flustered sometimes when he praises her or is rather close to her, but they usually have rather normal interactions since they've been friends for a long while. Violet has unwavering faith in his capabilities and can get rather upset when others talk badly about him.

Backstory

Violet was born and lived in the village of SkyLining, which was a settlement built in the clouds high above Shivarstra. Violet was rarely allowed to visit the earth due to her overprotective parents, but that didn't stop her from trying to swoop down as low as possible when using her rifting to fly like the other villagers. When Violet became a fairly skilled rifter, she secretly flew down into the snowy forests to explore, and she would make these secret visits a regular occurance over the years.

During one of these trips down to earth, she ended up getting stuck on land when a blizzard made it too dangerous to fly back up. She crossed paths with a carrier from Factesk and they offered her a ride to give her shelter from the storm. It was here that Violet met Dar’Kenai Chalco, who was a young but brilliant inventor already forming his own business with his sister at a relatively young age. Violet was fascinated by the technology of Factesk, and she became rather infatuated with Dar’Kenai along with being highly interested in his work. After returning home, Violet ended up practicing her rifting even more so she could travel to Factesk on her own so she could visit more often. The two became very close friends over the years.

At some point Dar’Kenai indicated that he was starting a new project for testing his new Air Mechs on an island his company built called Air City. Dar’Kenai asked Violet if she'd be interested in going there with him, and she thought about the offer for some time. During this time, her parents finally found out she was frequently traveling down to earth and interacting with the mainlanders, and they forbade her from ever going back. Violet was determined not to lose her friendship with Dar’Kenai, so she quickly returned to Factesk and immediately accepted Dar’Kenai‘s offer.

Since then, Violet has lived in Air City and frequently helps Dar’Kenai personally with his work. He tends to trust her with testing out the flight capabilities of the various Mechs, and she is particularly skilled with her Ayr rifting based Mech, the Wingale glider.
