Summary
| Blaine is a hunter and a thief who lives on the Southerner part of the Kenarii Isles. He makes his living traveling from place to place and stealing things - whether they be junk or significant items - and selling them wherever he goes next. He lives under the guise of being a traveling merchant and has managed to avoid long-term capture in the few years he's been doing this professionally. The moral side of the business is unimportant to him, in the end the merchants he steals from can easily survive with one less pearl while for him it may mean one more night of survival for him and his dog. As the national animal of Kenarii is a dog, he befriended one of the wild corgis that can be found all over the isle and named him Jonathan. The animal follows him around wherever he goes and is a happy trusty companion to Blaine's travels. He'll gladly pass up a meal of his own if it means he can feed his dog and Jonathan's needs are only a small price to pay for him to have such a pleasant companion with him all the time. Blaine has been an exquisite archer from when he was younger already and originally intended to join the Kenarii military to become a city guard, but after trying out the job and being utterly bored by it he decided to seek for more of a thrill and to resume the theft he used to commit when he was a child - only on a much bigger scale this time. He's satisfied with what it has to offer and it doesn't look like he'll change his ways anytime soon. |  |
Physical description
Blaine is a Southerner man of average height, being 171cm or 5'7 in height and weighing 64kg or 141lbs. His skin is a rather light and dull orange in colour and he has freckles on his cheeks, ears, neck, shoulders, and back. His eyes are red in colour and are slightly hooded, giving him more of an uninterested expression. He has a thin but straight flat nose with a small bump in the middle of the nose bridge and a medium sized tip. His jawline is smooth and vertical with a thin chin. He has rather long pointy ears that are positioned pretty horizontally for a demon's ears. He has two short light yellow-brown horns. Under every eye he always paints a thick black line.
His hair is dark red in colour an is kept pretty short at the length where his spine meets his skull. He has a few bangs, two hanging in front of his ears and one hanging over his forehead. His body isn't the muscliest out there but he does have some broad shoulders for his height. His arms and shoulders are his strongest point due to his long history with archery, but his legs are still built right to make for a quick escape.
Blaine favours darker clothing despite the tropical climate he lives in. He wears a dark grey sleeveless shirt and a black pair of trousers that ends just beneath the knee. Over this shirt he wears a dark vibrant red cloak that wraps around his neck and that splits into two parts by its back. He wears a dark brown leather toolbelt around his waist, in which he keeps his arrows, his knives, and anything else he may be carrying at the time that is small enough to fit in there. Around his arms he wears elbow length leather gloves that end in a black fingerless glove and he oftentimes wears a shoulderpad on his left shoulder that's fastened to his body with a strap that goes over his chest, under his right arm, and back to the back of the shoulderpad. He always wears bandages around the feet and legs. His ears have a few earrings in them, those being two rings near the head and two bullets away from the head.
