Morwenna Thorne's love affair with insects began in her childhood, spent exploring the woods and fields surrounding her rural home. Unfortunately, following their deaths she was left penniless and had to become a household servant at a large countryside estate.

Since starting her position at the estate, she has spent most of her free time surrounded by the beauty of the estate's gardens and fields, tending to the land with a quiet grace (even if it is not her job!). Her affinity for nature and her kind-hearted spirit drew her closer to the rhythms of the land, which is how she first met the estate owner, Pemberley Thorne. As weeks turned into months, their chance encounters blossomed into deliberate rendezvous. They would steal moments amidst the roses and beneath the shade of ancient trees, discussing the mysteries of the natural world and sharing their dreams and aspirations. Their connection deepened, fueled by a mutual respect and an unspoken understanding that defied societal norms. One day, as Morwenna excitedly discussed the habits of fireflies, Pemberley surprised her with a lavish gift – a secluded butterfly garden within the estate's grounds. She now spends days perfecting the large garden around the estate, in hopes that it will attract as many species of the colorful winged insects as possible so she can observe and study them in their natural habitat.
