Likes: Sea shells, ribbons, bows, martial arts, snowball fights, peace and quiet, reading, and steak.

Dislikes:  Soften (most of the time), Rebble (sometimes), Harden, peanuts, loud  noises, people insulting her bow, waiting in line, and waking up early.

Personality:  Shelly is known to have a bad temper that is easy to trigger, but in  her defense a lot of weird annoying stuff happens. When angry, Shelly is not afraid to use her unusually powerful fists to send her targets flying into the sun. When not angry, Shelly is quite kind, friendly, and easygoing.

Home: Hairworld

History: Shelly, like  other Soft Creatures, is originally from the planet Sofbun (sometimes spelled Softbun). However, one day a mysterious shadowy figure referred to as ????? destroyed Sofbun when Shelly was young. Soften, Shelly, Sully, Sharpen, Harden, and Shelly's guards are the only known residents of the planet to have escaped, and all of them now live on the strange  carrot-shaped planet known as Hairworld. Despite that origin story, this  is a gag series so serious storylines are rare to almost nonexistent.

Shelly got her name from her love of sea shells at a young age. This means that her parents didn't name her for quite some time, which is pretty strange.

Current-Bio: Shelly currently lives on  Hairworld in her estate, being rich with guards watching the place to keep it safe (and Soften-free). She can often be found hanging around Kitten and Sully and is often dragged into Soften's weird antics with Rebble. Despite her annoyance with Soften, Shelly does seem to enjoy some of their adventures. Emphasis on some. She is allergic to nuts. There's also a mysterious ninja sometimes seen around town at night who wears a bow that looks a lot like Shelly's...

Meta-History:  Shelly was the first character added to the Soften series who wasn't a parody of a Kirby character and was a part of the last story I made using Disney Magic Artist Studio before my computer died and I lost all the files. I was slowly moving away from doing Kirby parodies, and wanted to do something different. So what did I decide to do? Give Soften a love interest, I guess? I actually remade Shelly's first appearance in a comic a few years ago: www.deviantart.com/thecreatoro… and it's very accurate to the original (I still need to fix that dang spelling error >.> ). Shelly and Soften are really the only characters to survive from the original stories (although I think  Stickman appeared in one, but I haven't used him in forever |D ). Shelly's personality was definitely inspired by Sakura from Naruto (especially the whole "cha" thing), which is a trait she shares with my character Light, but obviously both characters are pretty different from Sakura.

A less important fact...I used to voice my characters  when I'd show people my stories/comics. I can still do Soften and Rebble's voices but I don't think I can do Shelly's anymore. XD Her voice was never very defined

Relationships with Other Characters:

Soften:  Shelly is easily annoyed by Soften and doesn't like his attempts to get her to like him. Despite this she does seem to care about him, such as when she went to rescue him and Rebble when they were abducted in the Alien Jim story. I-it's not like she likes him or anything baka!

Rebble:  Shelly doesn't mind Rebble and considers him to be a friend. However, Rebble is rarely seen without Soften, and thus she often blames them both for annoying her.

Kitten: Shelly and Kitten are best friends, in fact Kitten is the person Shelly gets along best with.

Sully:  Shelly and Sully are cousins. The two generally get along, but Shelly doesn't quite understand why her cousin is smitten with Soften.

Stickman: Shelly and Stickman don't interact much, but we can assume she is annoyed by him.

Harden: Shelly does not like Harden and finds him to be almost more annoying than Soften.

Rablue: Shelly does not like Rablue at all.

Sharpen: Sharpen annoys Shelly greatly, but thankfully he doesn't pay attention to her much.

Alien Jim: Shelly dislikes Alien Jim after the events of his introduction arc.
