Sir Thomas Attaly is a renowned British scientist living in Bath, England. Unbeknown to anyone, Sir Attaly has been plagiarising all of the hard work and effort of the numerous researchers who work for him.
Larkin is one of the scientific researchers under his control. Following a chance encounter with an eccentric market seller, Larkin discovers a mysterious book. This book's bizarre ramblings lead him down a path of mystery, magic, and murder.
A meeting with "The Golden Thief", will change Larkin's life forever.

He's a fascinating character to write about because he reacts differently compared to most in certain situations! I don't think Larkin really ever thought highly of Sir. Attaly so I don't blame him LOL! But it's a bit concerning his general lack of alertness to death!! The rest of the cast acts very differently from how he does.

np!!!!! that’s super interesting to hear! i wonder if it has to do with the fact that he deals with dead bodies on a regular basis so he’s kind of become desensitized in a way. larkin’s such a lovable and interesting character im excited to see more of him
