How do you feel about TH forum?

Character Discussion

Awesome subforum I really like to share my characters in, fun threads to join. The show me threads related to milestones about characters are my favorite (e.g most images, favorite gallery, most loved oc...) I also like assign threads quite a bit, if the theme interests me. And the few general topics, you know actual DISCUSSION is awesome too. It's rare however, but I often like to start such threads, and its nice that people join.

Way too many RP threads (interact with___). One person started this, and everyone followed. As someone who doesn't do RP, this is just spam I have to block daily. This is really the only major dislike I have though. Used to be fav for fav, but it got solved a while back.

Creators Corner

Most underrated forum out of all, which is so sad to me. I check this sub daily, looking for some sharing, discussion and interesting topics. I love the general questions and opinion threads a lot. As well as art related sharing topics. Showing off specific pieces we have done, improvements, styles, redraws... the list goes on. Just awesome to use and to browse and read!

And here comes the bad part. There is so much I hate about this subforum, or well the people in there, which includes 200 LF friends threads and discord ads. I could write a whole book about my thoughts with this but I'm just leaving it at that. I can't wait for Artfight to start again so we have 200 more art fight threads there of the same thing everyone needs to make.

Forum Games

By far the best quality subforum, generally. The people there are amazing, the atmosphere is amazing. One of the places to be on this site tbh. Had lots of fun in it already. And people actually pay attention to thread descriptions there. I am so used to being looked over in any other sub, that it's sometimes hard for me not to overdue rules or highlighted text. I don't play games daily, but its always fun to go back to! And I love that my own games are played and often bumped as well!

You occationally have black sheeps. The type of people who don't give a fuck, don't read, don't or can't put in effort and join regardless. Takes the fun out of everything when such a person claims you. I started blocking freely...

General and Off-topic

I like this forum mainly because of how active it is. You always have something to read or think about when you're bored. I like the topics for the most part. Always fun to join and write in. Seeing the same people all the time is also nice, feels like a little clique lol.

Too much bullshit. The bulletin type of stuff, very personal life stories or none sense threads about no topic at all that's just spam. Its getting out of hand at times. There's also some discord ads I constantly block as well. Out of all the sub forums, this has the most shit by far, its not surprising considering there is so much activity. But most things don't need a thread, not even remotely. If you wanr to share your socks, go to the comment thread. But if you want people to share their favorite socks, make a thread! Common sense... kinda.. imo..

Help & Questions

Yeah, I actually browse this forum often. Because I like helping out, or joining a discussion. As well as sharing my questions on occasion I'm curious about. Its one of these subs that feel quite nice. Aside from the echoing (repeating the same thing that was said 40 times before without adding anything new), its a good place to be and get help.

Commission pricing spam. I understand struggling with your work, but the amount of commission threads is hella annoying, to the point it seems more like an ad because you drown everywhere else. It wouldn't surprise me if some people use this tactic.

Bugs & Suggestions

I don't have nice things to share about that one... The opinions shared there are pretty toxic and unfriendly. People also have really strange takes on suggestions sometimes when they disagree to something, rather that just staying neutral... The stuff where you go "only on toyhouse 🙄 logic" in your head. hm.. not my favorite section of the site. I don't check it too often for that reason too

General opinion

I enjoy the forum for the most part. Otherwise, I wouldn't use it. However no matter the subforum (some better than others tho) there is a general detail that kinda kills the fun for me, especially as a thread starter. And that is off topic responses, echoing (I dont mind this all the time) or responses by those who don't even have any opinion and nothing of substance to share. Like.. nobody forces you to post, please move on. I didn't mind this the first few times, but after a while it got annoying. I don't really want to start much discussion anymore lately. Especially when I am curious about a specific thing and everyone answers stuff I never asked. I actually stopped looking at responses when I do poll threads. Because I care about the specific options I wrote and its the reason I started the thread. To the few people who actually get the topic of the thread or even talk to me directly, I see you. Thanks for caring about it!

The statement "The userbase is anti-social" is somewhat true. It highly depends on with whom you interact and what you post. I had lots of really enjoyable convos here before. Sometimes I have convos daily even. But you actually need to care and want to interact. Otherwise, yes it IS. It kinda applies to any space though. But please don't complain about it if you never put in the slightest effort. If you do, that's a different story. Like I said, TH being anti social is somewhat true. Some users here to don't give a fuck to respond to you. Heck some users can't even thank you. The most simple thing one can do.
